What Anime do you Enjoy. Why?

I want to find out what animes people like to watch and what is it about it that gets them hooked. Is it the storyline? The underlying moral that the anime emphasizes? Basically, what is it about anime that interests you?

To be completely honest I don't watch anime all that much. My favorite so far has been Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I loved the story line, it was direct and to the point while at the same time not rushing anything, did a good job of explaining everything, showed that whoever wrote it did their homework before writing it, and its whole being a parallel version of world war 2 germany was sort of cool.

I love Lupin III. It's a classic anime that has a wonderful blend of humor and action. Stylistically, it's one of a kind.

Naruto, One Piece, Death Note, Fairy Tail, Cowboy Bebop, Avatar the last Airbender (If that is considered anime), Full Metal Achemist, FMA Brotherhood... thats about it. Except for Cowboy Bebop and Avatar, I think the manga is better. Although FMA anime is fukcing awesome.

I have no idea as to why I'm hooked on to anime....

But some of my favorites are:

- Angel Beats

- FMA Brotherhood

- CowBoy Bepop

- Mushi-Shi (reminds me of Miyazaki's movies..)

- I also liked Paranoia Agent for some reason....

I have recently started to watch Madoka Magika it is rather enjoyable.

Oh shit, you should totally watch Samurai Champloo. I just heard about it the last week and I am totally hooked on it. Mugen is the man, and he is voiced by the same actor who does spike spiegel in cowboy bebop


and for me, I like watching anime primarily for 3 reasons
1. Exciting and provoking stories
2. Character development
3. The way that the anime makes me think of human nature or my society, or anything really.

Thats true, but bleach has a tendency to make filler episodes than naruto does. And naruto has a lot of filler episodes. Although the fight scenes in bleach are awesome. Ulquiorra vs Ichigo is one of my all time favorite anime fights.

Thats true, but bleach has a tendency to make filler episodes than naruto does. And naruto has a lot of filler episodes. Although the fight scenes in bleach are awesome. Ulquiorra vs Ichigo is one of my all time favorite anime fights.

And I would bet you that once the bleach manga ends, the anime will continue for at least 2, and possibly even 3 or 4 years.

I recently just finish today watching ZETMAN in one day,its like a movie but longer. And its the best anime ive watched right now. The stroyline is base on what is justice and the story keep its tone till the end it is like a roller coaster but better if you love anime like a freak like me and that fights are epic. i could go on for ever lol.
