Sasuke was not given MS. You have to kill your closest friend, which he did, Itachi. Itachi was still going hard in that battle, or else he wouldn't have used Tsuku or Ama. He just knew Sasuke had the capacity to beat him. He threw the fight when he had to resort to Susanoo because he knew he was going to die anyway. Itachi didn't plan on Sasuke finding out his secrets, so he didn't give him MS. Itachi didn't give Sasuke his powers. Sasuke's MS has the same powers as Itachi's due to them being brothers. Itachi implanted Ama in Sasuke for a one shot against Tobi just in case, and that is the end of anything Itachi gave Sasuke. Also, the only way to gain EMS is by implanting another MS. Deal with it.

We haven't seen Sasuke train because 1) he isn't the main character. We haven't seen Neji, Hinata, Kiba, or anybody else train either. 2) He is a genuis. In the narutoverse, that means techniques come easy to him. You can't train with MS techs anyway or you'll just go blind faster.

Naruto was given Kurama, his main source of power. Sasuke has uchiha blood, his main source of power. They have both been given power to a certain extent. They use what is available for them. The Aburame clan puts bugs in their bodies from birth and people don't cry about how they would be nothing without em. It is just what they do.

They are both smart. At first, Sasuke was smarter than Naruto (part 1 and beginning of part 2) Then Naruto matured and Sasuke went all power crazy mad man and Naruto made better battle decisions. Now Sasuke seems to have leveled out. Not just recklessly charging in anymore and Naruto is becoming a better, more elaborate tactician (still the number hyperactive knucklehead ninja)

Naruto have ma and pa for sage mode to think for him . ma and pa toads had alot of experience with jiraya in battle.He also have the ninetail for who 1000 yr of experience can help him out in battle.While sasuke is a uchiha ,he very tactical or analytical .
Sasuke have both itachi power and his own power and also the new power from the EMS.While naruto have SM, BM ,talk no jutsu but sasuke have repelllent for it and support.
Sasukea sharingan get stronger while in battle.This mean duing there battle sasuke might unlock some new skills.While naruto might be given power by someone or get support from his friend (as ususal)

Naruto can't use ma and pa during sage mode like how jiraiya could so when naruto goes in to sage mode it's all him, and lately someone has always been jumping into Sasukes fights as while like Karin Tobi and itachi

Sasuke has been VERY reckless lately. Its ridiculous.

It's his ego he thinks to highly of himself so he goes into battle thinking no one can touch him and he let's his emotions cloud his thinking don't get me wrong I'm a fan of Sasuke like when he fought didera he was damn near flawless in that fight but I haven't really seen that Sasuke in a while

List what advantages or disadvantages that's pretty simple

On topic
Advantages:
naruto has speed/healing/stamina/amount of chakra/multiple clones & multiple extendable chakra arms
sasuke has versatility/intelligence/elemental advantage/genjutsu/multiple defensive techniques/overall better fundamental skills

Disadvantages:
Naruto is too emotional/uses the same strategies /clumzy / not the brightest or most analytical/let kyubi out of cage (this, is major if kishimoto doesn't contradict himself)

Sasuke is too overly confident/lacks knowledge on biju & jinchuriki/ too aggressive with fighting style/stubborn (refuses to use anything orochimaru taught him)

In the end the biggest advantage both have is naruto is the star & sasuke was created overall better (since childhood & even now sasuke is better as ninja skill wise)
DISADVANTAGE: Both have a soft stop for the other

How did sasuke work for his powers itachi threw the fight and that was his sole intention thats how he got ms and itachis eyes were given to him thats how he got ems madara could have easlily kept those eyes pretty sure he could find a good use for them thats all hes really spamming nowadays he doesnt use snake summons anymore or anything like that he jus spams chidori ametarasu and susanoo

Gaining strength through pain is a key element that brings ninja power later in the manga, whether it be for good or bad. Sasuke has experienced mental pain throughout this manga, which is known to be worse than physical pain but usually brings the user to more power. Naruto recognizes that Sasuke's childhood was worse than his, and later in shippuden tells Sasuke that he just found out Sasuke's pain about Jiraiya's death (inferred but pretty much implied).
