When this was revealed, we all assumed it was Yachiru's Shikai. Because, you know, she said a thing and then her sword got awesome. It made sense.

Now, Yachiru is Nozarashi? What does that mean Sanpo Kenju is?
I've heard theories that it's an extention of Nozarashi's powers, or that she's calling for some other Zanpakuto Spirits to come and curbstomp her enemies for her, or that Kenpachi is just so badass that his Bankai can go Bankai. What do you think?

Maybe Kenpachi's Bankai is going to summon a bunch of giant monsters to beat the crap out of Gerard. (Which would be kinda awesome, but also literally Komamura's Bankai.



All we know for sure is that the Sanpo Kenju monster with the cleaver is the most adorable and huggable thing ever.

Actually Yachiru never said anything to release her zanpakuto, she just grabbed it out of a box. On top of that Yachiru's "shikai" is unique accoring to Isane in how the shikai is manifested.

However if you take a close look at the weapon of the little dude it kinda looks like nozarashi but with less details. If that little dude is indeed holding a weaker transformation of Zaraki's shikai, than would the big guy be wielding the bankai?

And if Yachiru is being able to manipulate both at the same time, and taking into consideration the theory of the two weapons indeed being the shikai and bankai, doesn't that simply mean that Yachiru is the physical manifestation of the zanpakuto. And that the two things summoned by Sanpo Kenju is simply both the shikai and bankai in a weaker released state?

Senpo kanju in the viz translation means "three steps sword beats". Three = sealed, shikai and bankai.

Edit: almost forgot to add this page, what if Yachiru showed the answer on Zaraki's question without him realizing it?
