sai was a replacement for sasuke and since he is back then thank you and goodbye.. I never thought of him or Yamato as team 7 members.. The original team 7 is known well..

Maybe saving the kages like every other characters whom are missing lol

Who cares about that fodder? Sai can't even beat Sakura. He was just a filler character for a few episodes. He's below fodder compared to Naruto and Sasuke.

We can't compare him with Naruto and Sasuke, because they are at Kage level, far above Sai, but he is very cool character. His personality, fighting style, he is not that weak as you think. He's good, very good indeed.

 

[Bad Touch Yakushi]

Sai is more of a member of Team Kakashi than Sasuke ever was. Sasuke lost the right to even call himself part of that team.
