Last we saw them they where fighting the Buddha statue and Yamato/Zetsu. What happened to them, they all die?

He actually showed us his ingenuity by using the 5 elements simultaneously and with such an intensity to repel the statue's attacks, and that without any special abilities like Rinnegan or something, finally he got what he deserves as the God of Shinobi but i still want to see more of him.
