-Large area of effect
-Can be used at any range
-Doesnt require many hand seals

Disadvantages:
-Explodes on contact not command so the enemy could trigger the explosion near the user with the throw of a weapon or something
-Very dangerous to use at close range

Good, focus your katon chakra in your lunges. Guide it to your mouth. Knead the chakra, and make a cloud of ashes. Let it go towards your opponent, and then click your teeth to ignite it. It will explode O__O

I blow the ashes from my mouth into the area ahead of me. When it is far enough I click my teeth together. The ashes ignite in a large explosion.*

Advantages:
-This jutsu can cover any amount that the user wishes
-Does not ignite until the user commands it to.

Disadvantages:
-If not performed quickly, or rather ignited quickly, a wind user can simply blow the ashes away

Do a kirin Sensei! I need my fix!

Advantages:
-Allows the user to set conditions for Kirin, a nearly inescapable jutsu.
-Shoots many large fireballs at the opponent making it hard for them to dodge them all and altering the terrain

Disadvantages:
-When using to prepare for kirin, the opponent is not defending and the user is left open for an attack

Basically, throw some shurikens and set them on fire. You've already done this but the weaker variety. The shuriken still continue after being doused by a wind technique in the manga, but I doubt that will work so nevermind that xd.

-The user can throw many of these in various directions making it hard for the opponent to dodge them all
-The fire continues to burn regardless on the flammability of what it hits

Disadvantages:
-Can be stopped with a wall of water like a stronger water shock wave, Idk if theres any such jutsu but I imagine there is.

-Has a lot of power and mass so it will smash through simple defenses such as a rock
-Can alter weather conditions and allow for Kirin to be performed

Disadvantages
-Wont pass through most lightning techniques (both advantage and disadvantage depending on how you want to use it)
