Yeah, I was. I think it's because it apparently diverged from the manga. Finger's crossed for there to be a "FMA: Brotherhood" release that sticks to the manga sometime in the future. Still haven't gotten myself to read it yet...

Yeah, but at the time there wasn't anymore material for them to animate. So it was either a random stop, or that.
Tbh, they could've just left it at the part where they all die, and not show what happens after. Then a continuation could be made. But even now, after 7 years, there's only enough material for maybe another 40 episodes? Unless they Naruto it where you get like one chapter per episode, and a bunch of filler. xD

There are enough chaps out for them to make a decent sequal, i've heard rumours about them, but nothing much. yeah, The anime was rushed in the end, to me, it was not well thought out and seemed pretty out of place. Prescilla getting raped by half awakened clare, raki comes in, jean dies. end of story. It was not well structured, way too out of place and didn't contribute much either to the official story.

Claymore has a manga that's been ongoing for over a decade now if I'm not mistaken but it's not even 70 chapters.
I was quite disappointed that Claymore ended like that, I wanted Clare to kick Priscilla's ass and I wanted to see the Snow King guy actually fighting.
Clare had so much fighting potential but sadly Raku (whateverhisnamewas) had to be a little ****** and stop her halfway through.
I wouldn't mind seeing a second season.

The manga is a 153, which still isn't a lot. But it's one of those monthly manga's I believe.

Btooom! took 3 months for 1 chapter even though it was supposed to be monthly.
The latest chapter is was released a month ago but still no translations yet, maybe that's why there are only that amount of chapters.
