If so, what is it and are you grateful for it?
If not, then what talent do you wish you had been born with instead?

I ask because I was born with a single talent: writing. I'm very unsatisfied with it, being that it's hard to make money with it. Very f-n tough competition and market.
I'm working on a novel that could earn me $500 or $50,000. I have no damn clue. So many variables involved. It sucks that I don't know whether or not I'm wasting my time.

I wish I was born with the ability to draw. I can't draw for shite, but if I could, I'd aspire to illustrate comics for DC, or at least Marvel. That'd be an interesting and satisfactory life :(

I don't believe in talents. All people more or less are born equal, unless one has some mental problems. What matters is how person is educated throughout childhood and how he practices what he likes and understands patterns of specific thing. If by talent we understand something you are good at, well, I guess my "talents" are geometry and architecture. As far as I remember, back in school times I was always good at these subjects, in high school we had architecture drawing subject, many envied me for my drawing skills and always got my country's equivalent of A mark. In college, I usually helped my friends who were studying technical drawing, but unfortunately myself, I did not study this field.
Some people said that I have talent in drawing, through I do not agree. Surely I did draw a lot in my childhood and teen years, but they were nothing special at all. Problem was for me that I could not draw important details or draw too much unnecessary details.

I believe in talents but i think it goes hand in hand with skill. I think I have talents in writing, yet I have a lot more to learn to have better skills in doing it

Chess. I've made prodigious progress almost tantamount to the likes of Magnus Carlsen and other elite grandmasters, all without the aid of a coach - unlike most professional players. If anyone wants to catch these hands lemme know

I'm a good editor and writer. Organisational skills too, if they count. Used to be a dope swimmer but now stick to diving, which requires little talent and more common sense.

I wiiish I was better with computers. I'm decent but have short patience for them to get better. Singing would also be great, just as a skill to own and do nothing with, anyway.

Outside of genetic modifiers like height or mental stability i think you can do whatever the fck you want given the free time to learn it.

Talent exist and it's a big difference between persons with the same education when is about something that implies talent too. Sometimes the talent is not developed and remains a raw skill. For me it's drawing. I would like to draw. Anything. Artistically, technically, but to play/work with the pencil all day long - I choose something else and my talent is just an ability.

And I would like to sing... I can't sing to save my life :T_T:
