It was fun at first but turned out to be a huge disappointment. I did like seeing Team Taka again tho. I'm neutral towards the new Gen.

The main point was to A) set up Momoshiki and B) confirm Salad was Sakura's child
And the main villain had no teeth and a shitty MS power. Gaiden was trash.

Oh, and Kishi actually had mr. toothless "recreate Akatsuki" for absolutely no reason in a cheap attempt to invoke nostalgia. It didn't work, it was just pointless and strange. Just like the main villain's out of place obsession with Itachi.

I love the new generation. They need more development though. And I enjoyed the Gaiden.

The new gen's stories didn't move anything forward because everything had already been solved. All the important villains were gone, the villages were at peace and everyone in Team 7 had fulfilled their goal. Gaiden and Boruto the movie are just there to finish the story of Naruto. It's not meant to do anything more than that. However if Kishi continued the story and seriously focused on making a Part 3 then the new generation could be epic.

It had it's shortcomings but I liked Gaiden, same with a new gen. I would rather he continues with them.

But pre-series also sounds interesting.

I would only be interested in post-699 if it shows Sasuke's travels, I've been curious about that.

The new gen was not that exciting. Majority of them were fusions of there parents. Some adult versions were disapointing as well. I would much rather Kishi not bother with this manga anymore. Its time to move on for the fans and Kishi himself.

I'm down for seeing the next gen develop. Himawari grows up to become a goddess and Sarada becomes Hokage with Boruto as her Husband and body guard while giving birth to the next Kaguya.

I loved the movie and the Gaiden was pure trash. Even some soap operas were better than that shit. The new gen to me is very redundant and boring and the only part I enjoyed the most was to see Naruto and Sasuke's as adults being badasses. New gen was disappointing af and I hope the movie marks an end to the remarkable 699 chapters in the manga.
