This morning I opened the window to breath in the fresh air(live on the first floor of apartment btw), and I spit out of my window while a taxi driving neighbour inconveniently walked around the corner at that exact time. It didn't even land close to where he was but he started staring at me and I looked back, we held eye contact for a few seconds but I didn't want to get into a fight so I broke eye contact and stared into the distance.

****ing bastard kept walking, and as he turned to get through the door(live in same aparment building) he looked at me again. Now I know in the animal kingdom eye contact demonstrates dominance and a fight will ensue if neither one look away. I have avoided so many altercations that almost happened for this very reason. However, you don't look down like a *****, you just look to the side while breaking eye contact, you save face, they save face.

Perhaps not yet, but we didn't get where we are today by talking about our "powerlessness". Instead we've always used nature to improve our situations. When we lived in straw houses that didn't do shit in protecting us from the elements. We found it was more efficient to build a house made of rocks with a foundation. In the same way, we'll be able to stop meteors and overcome any other challenge we face in the future because think about it, everything we have today have always existed, every material in every technology, machine and object, every atom that makes up the matter in our universe have always existed. We didn't create anything, we just discovered things, they were always there whether we knew about it or not.

If history is any example then every problem is a discovery waiting to happen.

I never said that avoiding fighting makes you a beta male necessarily I only said that because you were fretting over it judging from your post. And he was just saying really?! by looking at you most likely.
