I just got to thinking, and the Uchiha honestly are a pretty pitifull bunch. They hold grudges (Madara wanting to kill Hashi even after the war), get butt hurt real easily (Tobi causing a war over his childhood crush), have bad luck, and have all used... 'unfair' weapons in their major battles, which I will explain now.
By baad luck, I meant they just couldn't catch a break. Madara used Kuroma, and unfair weapon because it was not an original technique developed by himself, but a chakra giant/tailed beat under his control, so that alone was like a 2nd partner when fighting Hashi and he STILL lost, Tobi also used Kuroma which was unfair for the same reason listed above except this one was worse, because Minato was on the clock to both take him out AND get back to the village to take on the hypnotized Kuroma before he completely wiped out Konoha, and yet, he STILL triumphed at the cost of his life, causing Tobi to retreat.
My point is that even though they were destined to be rivals/enemy clans, they still have yet to win 1 major fight... and even when they were all using the most powerful beast of them all, they still lost. That's just bad luck.
"But Madara is fighting Naruto without a Tailed beast while he has one, so now that's the Uzumaki using an unfair weapon." Uh, nope. The match is still incredibly unfair, and Madara (I'm assuming) is still probably going to lose. He's using 2 robbed skills that are not his own (Hashi's wood dragon and Rinnegan), is an Edo with unlimited chakra, has the great 10-tails on his side AND is practically invincible right now. What does Naruto have? Let's see, Kyuubi/Bijuu mode and Sage mode, which quite frankly pales in comparison to what Madara is sporting at the moment. Now tell me that's fair.
So back to my initial question, do you think the Senju/Uzumaki were DESTINED to triumph over the Uchiha, or are they still equals?

Fail much.................. Uchiha and other clans are defined... When the leaf was created there was no need for a specific "senju clan". The uchiha stayed as clan because of their sharingan..
