Because they got betrayed by the village and wanted their rightful place?

Well, besides the fallacy that they were not oppressed, yes, in any case I would root for them, because they never had it easy like Boruto and still acted like they could piss all over the world and nobody would have to touch a hair on their head. The Uchiha's struggles altogether make them relatable and empathy deserving. Anyone with a heart of passion would root for such a group, especially since everyone has felt "isolated/alienated" at any point in their lives.

It was stated in the manga that they wanted peace. They rejected Madara (Even though he was right) and got shafted in the end by their new allies. They get called the villains and are scapegoated because of their eyes and their emotions tied to it.

Kinda similar to black people and the struggle for civil rights back in the early 1900s. Eugenics was created to make them look inferior (It was discredited later) and extreme measures such as

.Forced steralization

.False arrests and police brutality without following protocol.

3. Murder (Lynchings)

4. And injecting them with syphillis and probably other STDs while lying; saying they had "Bad blood" just so the injections could be given.

Not even the government stood for them and expressed hatred for them because they were taught to do so.

^^^^^^Just using that as an example. The Uchiha were secluded, used as expendables, stripped of their Co-Founder status (Thus excommunicating them from government affairs), and spied on; even though they were willing to work with the Senju.

Haters can never understand.

Yeah, that's probably the only reason why I'd dislike Tobirama. I can see where Danzo's thinking comes from if Kishi can confirm it.

I will keep it simple and say that everyone who causes terror is a terrorist.

And yes according to my logic almost everyone in this manga is a terrorist.

The very fact you are asking this, shows how powerful fascism can get, as to make social victims of prejudice instigated by the government.

Yes and no, depending on how you interpret their initial and subsequent demise.

Technically speaking, no they aren't terrorists. They conspired to commit treason, and as such they got the capital punishment.

the fact that you tried to make such a comparison is disgusting. The uchiha's were not forced to be sterilized in any way shape or form; they weren't arrested (in fact they are the police -_-) ;they weren't lynched or murdered; nor were they injected with drugs std's or anything of that nature. Furthermore they were not held in captivity. They weren't considered less than people. And they weren't slaves. Blacks were never considered co founders of america even tho the white house was partially built by them. They never even had the opportunity to hold positions of power until recently. (something uchiha's on the other hand had at literally every point unless you don't consider running the Police department a 'position of power' (in which you would be wrong))

The worst thing they had to deal with was being ostracised which is tbh getting off pretty light for the bs their members pull. Until the uchiha massacre nobody was killed. Their leaders/clan heads weren't assassinated or murdered off, their establiments or business weren't burned to the ground, their women weren't getting raped. Their culture or identity wasn't erased. And at every point in the way they could have left. Madara did it without problem. Sasuke did it without problem. If it was really that shitty they could have done the same. If oro could murder children for years be a wanted criminal, and still leave the village and start his own village i dont wanna hear any bullshit from the idiots that are uchiha.

Where as on the other hand It was an uchiha that attacked the first hokage and by extension sullied their name, and an uchiha that killed the 4th hokage, which brings them into more scrutiny. Like blacks my ass.
