You asked a question that I'd answer, then you'd disagree and reply and I'd disagree and reply and then eventually once I explain how Asuma wins you'll either stop replying or you'll make nonsense excuses like "Neji parries all his attacks cuz he so skilled".

:lol

I actually agreed that Sasuke w/ a sword would defeat Neji with bare hands. and I agreed that a random character such as Dodai would beat Neji so why can't you just stop it.

Nope. When I argue it's mostly free from bias because I'm not arguing with the goal of "winning" a fan war on a forum unlike you and every other fanboy in existence. :lol That being said, I don't care what you have to say on this match up unless you or anyone else wants to actually explain how Neji goes about winning.

@bold Neji can strike his vital points from a distance with air palms. and he can disarm Asuma from his weapons if he striked the arms.

Hiruzen is a Sarutobi and Tsunade is a Senju and they're both stronger than anything the Hyuga have to offer.

Don't take this thread the wrong way Hyuga fans because I actually like the Hyuga and think their fighting style is cool I'm just being real here.

Yes i believe so, Hyuga is undoubtedly world renown strong clan Kumo and Kiri has a though time dealing with them and want them so badly. As a very old clan and direct establish among aliens domination, not just shinobi put high regards on byakugan the entire galaxy fear for byakugan which is the oldest among all doujutsu. Konoha proudly together dying to protect Byakugan together with his ''unknown secret'', meanwhile without hesitation bandwagon to discriminate lower version of doujutsu the Sharingan.

Uchiha is a joke, it just offspring of Indra look how BZ trolling them.

1. If it was simple shunshin, there'd be no need to emphasize on the FTG kunai.

no lol the ftg was used to teleport away the tailed beast bomb and why the kunai was shown to show where the tbb was being teleported. ftg needs a mark to use and minato had no mark on the battle field where he showed up. tobirmama also says shushin. yes this is a fan translation, doesn't change th fact that the people who translated it clearly saw that the kanji read shushin and not hirashin

body flick 瞬身の術
flying thinder 飛雷神の術

i will try to find japanese scan if possible to see who is right. but yeah even if u are right in this, it doesnt change hinata's speed feat tbh

2. If it was simple shunshin, Tobirama wouldn't have said "you're even better at teleportating than me." When every ninja can use shunshin
.

levels differ lmao look at shisui and minato himself. both are said to have amazing shushin

Tobirama clearly was referencing FTG, true instant teleportation, coupled with the fact Hashirama blatantly wanted Tobirama to use FTG to "fly" (instantly teleport) them to Naruto & co. but Tobirama couldn't due to Orochimaru's binding him with Hashirama's cells, which was later released (obviously).

"fly us outside" doesn't mean fly us to naruto. and again, how would tobirama pull that off with no seal on the battle field?

3. You can even see here, Tobirama tapped his brother's shoulder putting the FTG seal on him, so he could teleport the marked individuals.

did u post the wrong scan? tobi doesnt touch hashi at all there.
4. Further proof of said ability to imbue his FTG mark onto others

never said he can't.
Regarding the second portion. I never stated fire, and poison to be similar did I? No. Resistance is resistance, immunity, is immunity, and adaptability, is adaptability. Shino's parasitic destruction beetles adapt, as when he was striking by Kankuro's poison, his father's insects (which were shown, and canonically proven to be the exact same as his sons') ate away the poison. This shows that #1: his father's insects encountered poison & #2: his father's insects adapted, and became immune.

i agree but until shown, there is no reason to say they can resist being burned just because they can fight off posions.

Fire, on the other hand is different, yes. But a resistance to fire can take place. If the ability to overcome poison is possible, the ability to build resistance to an element is possible. This is blatantly shown when Sasuke attempted to damage the Raikage with Chidori. Ay was resistant due to his lightning shroud.

possible doesnt mean 4 sure. and aburame bugs dont have fire shrouds to resist fire.

@bold, air palm hasn't shown to attack the oppositions insides though, if such was the case Kisame wouldn't of been able to tank the attack effortlessly, you can't tank internal affairs.

Kisame literally isn't even phased after being hit with air palm, surprised? Undoubtedly, but internally injured/physically in any way? None at all.

yeah right.

No, and no. Air Palm is a technique that doesn't do any real damage hence Kisame's clone literally not feeling the slightest bit of pain from it, and no, he isn't disarming Asuma's weapons. Not in this lifetime. Do you just throw this argument out no matter who Neji is facing? Their Taijutsu score in the DB is similar so I don't want to see you make the skill excuse, and their speed stats are similar with no one having any clear advantage in the feats so I don't want to see you try and use that excuse as well.

Then we have the fact that Asuma's CQC is top tier in Konoha as per DB 3, and his feats and that portrayal in CQC shit on anything Neji has ever done, such as fighting Kisame back in Part 1. That and Asuma uses blades that he can extend via Wind chakra while Neji fights with his bare hands. In CQC Asuma would destroy him as Neji's fighting style is Gentle Fist. No weapons. Neji is inferior in ability, is at a disadvantage when it comes to weaponry and his long range attacks suck.

All Neji can do is try and use Rotation whenever he gets cornered since Asuma can't power his way through it, but he can't play that game forever without a way to overpower Asuma.

it doesn't do internal damage, it only strikes the enemy's vital points

I never said that it does internal damage, I said that it strikes the vital points. and striking vital points can give the one a significant advantage in hand to hand combat. and the fact that Neji can strike them from a distance is an advantage

I understand. As much as I want Neji to win, Asuma is just a pretty able character, maybe an underrated one. It is Kaiten vs Smoke-Fire-Ash stuff Asuma uses, and the rest of his jyuuken feats vs Asuma's wind style. In taijutsu battle, given that Asuma and neji are equal, I root for Asuma to avoid a deadly hit in his tenketsu.

But why was emphasis placed on him grabbing Samehada? I figured it was to slow himself down but he doesn't look to be slowing down in the next panel?

To be fair that was just a puppet being controlled by kisame.

Even if it did hit an vital spot/do damage, it wouldn't slow him down like it would a normal person because it's just a puppet being controlled with chakra.

Ironic coming from a Neji fanboy considering Neji has no good feats of his own past Part 1. What did Neji do in Part 2 again? Use Air Palm on Kisame and fail to do any real damage to him, and air palm he only landed cause of his team? Oh yes, and of course I can't forget him getting fodderized by Obito's stick. :lol

ye neji had few feats in part 2 but add the few he had w/ the ones in part 1 VS asuma's empty list of feats beyond hitting a static boulder and tree?

So your point remains invalid.

Lol this is so stupid. Lol "im not saying fire and poison are similar" than proceeds you directly compare them in a situation in which the two things have nothing to do with each other. Resistance is not a blanket attributes, because a deep sea fish can adapt to high pressure zones and low temp doesnt mean it wouldnt fry like almost everything else in a fire. Just because bugs have a specific resistance to poison doesn't mean they can adjust their genetic code to pull all new fire proof shells from their *******s.

people dont seem to understand that air palm was said to have same aspects of gentle fist, so yes, it can damage organs since that is what gentle fist does

Viz Translation > Fan made translation.

FTG allows the user to teleport to their connected chakra. Minato is connected to Naruto's chakra (obviously), Tobirama is able to sync his own FTG markings with others (as shown previously). What more do I need to explain for you to understand?

It's literally all right there.

Minato FTG to Naruto due to chakra link.

Tobirama FTG through synced markings.

FTG marks never fade, this opens up another plausible reasoning for FTG usage.

Also, reedited the one spoiler, its the correct image now recheck it.

I never said you did. I said it simply doesn't deal damage so it grants no advantage whatsoever, especially in hand to hand combat considering you'll be busy evading and trying to parry your enemies attacks not using techniques. So yeah, Neji doesn't stand a chance of victory. A technique that does nothing but blow the opponent back a few meters isn't a game changing technique. Not even close. :lol

is that y he denies hinata's power boost from getting 6 paths chakra from hamura?

o perform it, the user precisely pinpoints the enemy's vital points with the Byakugan and releases a high-speed palm thrust.

Air palm likely has internal damage. It is also the version of Kaiten for a specific rather than a general area
