It is because Kabuto believed that the Edo's really are his own power.

That is why he is trapped inside the Izanami, because Kabuto could not accept his true self and the fact that other people's power is not his own.U_U

Edo Tensei is a Summoning Jutsu!

Fact of the manga 2:

Summoning jutsu is apart of its summoners power!

Fact number 3:

Edo tensei happens because of its summoner. If summoner chooses not to summon then it doesnt happen. Just like if minato doesnt choose to use rasengan it doesnt happen.

I believe outside the manga its kabuto's power. However the whole fight between the bro's and izanami and everything to me at least is kishi using itachi and that fight to state that edo tensei isn't kabuto's power

Most of kabuto power up came from oro chakra . what he can do without oro chakra remains to be seen. if he can use edo tensei without oro chakra then yes its also his jutsu

Izanami worked on Kabuto because of his identity crises by trying to become Orochimaru not because of the use of edo tensei.
