Well it could possibly happen. Look at the 3 sannins, jiraya wanted to become hokage but let tsunade be the hokage. Naruto will maybe give up his dream and give it to sakura, he wanted to get back sasukeand now he has done it. But if u read the latest chapter, it's maybe possible, and sakura haters, one thing, stfu.

Orochimaru [Sasuke] was going to end up being Hokage but, his actions stepped in the way of that.
Jiraiya was asked to be Hokage but, he wanted to continue traveling to find his disciple.
Tsunade [Sakura] was the last choice.
In this case Naruto is different from Jiraiya, if he is offered the spot he will take it.
