I agree at the Zetsu clone theory. And i still dont see why it would be obito. I mean just because the abilities are similar does it have to be him? I dont get it. What about the ideals? Obito is the one that said that those who abandon friends are worse than trash. Thats like one of the best ideals on narutoverse. Also one thing that always troubled me is the appearance of Tobi in different times. First time he appears on the attack on Konoha he is not that tall and has short hair. Then when Itachi meets the masked man his is taller than the short hair Tobi and has long hair. Hell yeah i understand that they can do w/e they want with their haircut (with the only two characters on narutoverse that have changed their haircut being sakura from long to short hair and hinata with longer hair than Part 1) but still its something that bothers me. Another thing that backs up that theory is another theory. The teleportation that Tobi has in order to move around might use black zetsu as destination, and as Black Zetsu himself said (dont know if thats literal or not) he is "the land himself".

To start off, while I would be all giddy if Obito was Tobi, it is unlikely. Some people keep saying his right side keeps getting crushed or destroyed, but do you forget how Minato injured the LEFT side, and it still bled White Zetsu material? The only real hints that somewhat support Obito are that Kakashi is there fighting with Naruto, and we know Tobi will be unmasked in that fight so Kakashi would be able to identify him. His motive would lie in revenge. Madara could have brainwashed him into hating the village with some lies or maybe even truths. We know Rin is dead, so somehow she died young. While unlikely, it is better than those desperate people who keep clinging to Tobi somehow being Madara.

Madara is completely out of the picture. The story has done a 180 and explained in many ways that Tobi and Madara are different people. Not only has Tobi been using Madarás name, but the story hints that he might actually have betrayed Madara to try to take the Moon`s Eye Plan for himself. Not to mention Tobi and Madara have COMPLETELY different personalities and outlooks. Madara gives people their props when they pull off something impressive like he did with Naruto...But Tobi who is facing Naruto right now keeps shunning on everyone and denying their power. Madara is cool and collected, Tobi is insane and emo. Notice Madara also fails to use any Space-Time Jutsu.

The recent chapters hinted that many Uchiha could use Izanagi, so Senju DNA was not required. This could be a clue that only NON-UCHIHA need Senju DNA to use Izanagi like Danzo did. Tobi could be Senju that will mirror Naruto in some way, say...

The way Tobi has been able to keep almost perfect control of SIX tailed beasts with ONE Sharingan hints that his entire body is Senju and he has large chakra reserves. Whoever he is, Shisui, Madara, Danzo, and Fugaku are completely out of the picture. The Sage of Six Paths, his elder son, and Izuna are too ridiculous to even consider.

Inabi Uchiha - No. Not enough resemblance, too young, not logical with his gang and their conflict with Itachi

Madara Uchiha - No
Mikoto Uchiha - No
Obito Uchiha - Candidate

Setsuna Uchiha - Candidate
Shisui Uchiha - No
Tekka Uchiha - No, same reason as Inabi
Teyaki Uchiha - Yeah right. More likely a relative to the ramen dude

Can we hundred percently exclude anyone from the latter list?
Not really as far as I know.

Now, how old is Tobi? Of course we can't know for sure if Obito ****ed with time and got much older, but from a, in my opinion, logical storytelling opinion, the glimpses we have seen of Tobi's face are clues so that we may find out who Tobi is on our own.

Also due to being a bit too young, Setsuna should be excluded even if they do look very similar to begin with.

This leaves Izuna, Kagami and Elder son to the top 3 final.

Izuna: He gave his eyes to Tobi. Or did he? Maybe he genjutsu'd Madara to believe he got his eyes or something. After this he died and got resurrected by someone.
Going by this, I consider the idea of Izuna being Tobi too damn far fetched. This doesn't seem right imo, so I hereby exclude Izuna from the top 3.

Elder son: Possible, but going by feeling, naah. He's imo just a device to show the history of the sage and his sons leading to the long lasting conflict of Senju and Uchiha which is a cool story on its own. It does make some sense, but then we have..
Kagami: , who makes sense in every way I can tell. So imo it's him. Not 100%, but I'm pretty sure.

Well, he could actually be a non uchiha, but this kind of analysis I cba with in that case and he most likely is an uchiha unless if he told Itachi just to fool him

Yep I hadn't compared them side by side, but seeing them beside each other in your picture makes it even more clear. Nearly perfect resemblance. And as you mentioned, it's the light. They both have black hair. Spiky black hair

if people can say that Tobi isnt Izuna because we saw him die then why cant the same logic be applied to Obito? Its not Madara, Shisui, Izuna, Fugaku or Tobi. The only remaining logical choice are a) random ninja whose not uchiha that wants power we dont know about b)madara split himself before dying and one half of him still lives on to achieve dreams c) Tobi is a zetzu clone with Hashi/Mada dna and is hungry to collect more power d) hes yet another uchiha we do not know of. e)hes some leftover experiment from Oro that again, has madara's dna and could have somehow been created to achieve madara's ambitions.

no the eyes are different in shape tobi's point up, kagami's point down kagami has black hair tobi is blue and spikier

his hair is like sasukes own but a little spikier but it is as spiky as obito's

Most of the info we know about Izuna makes him seem like he was obedient to the Uchiha and to his brother (if what Tobi...who might be Izuna, himself). That could have all been a mask(ha!) for deeper insidious plots.

This series loves the brother motif and the Uchiha's watch each other's backs. Madara and Izuna originally used the sharingan to control the Uchiha clan but were ultimately beaten by the Senju. Maybe the brothers realized their limitations and planned accordingly (i dunno) for the future control of the entire world. It was a win-win for Izuna to give up his eyes. If Madara won, the Uchiha's, led by the brothers would be the ultimate. If not, somehow, Izuna would live, gather senju DNA and knowledge (and probably tons of eyes robbed from dead bodies) so that they'd be able to have access to both the Rinnegan and all 9 beasts.

I think that tobi is madaras brother thats why he wanted revenge because they drove madara from the clan. Thats also why he knows about the fight between madara and the 1st. and also how he knows about the uchiha clan. they say madara took his eyes but i think he got new ones from an uchiha member. they said that madaras brother also had Mangekyō Sharingan but since he got his taken and got new ones thats why he couldnt use them in the war. and because they arent his.:shrug:

he had that hair as a disguise. hair doesnt really matter. alot of people in naruto have spiky hair.
