Today, we'll be talking about tying up loose ends.
Do you have too many characters than you can manage? Too many irrelevant subplots that you exposed readers to for no reason? Too many secrets you made early on that you still don't have an answer to?
The simple solution is to not worry about them. Readers just like pretty pictures and will forget most of what you write within a month, so these loose ends don't really matter! Wait until the last chapter/pages of your work to slop together an explanation.
Ex 1:
"Gee Bill, I just don't know what to do with this irrelevant character I revived. What should I do?"
"How about you write off his entire character in one page by saying he overdosed on drugs?"
"Wow-Wie! Thanks, Bill!"
In some situations, however, you just can't find even the simplest and most incredibly lazy explanations ever. What do you do for these situations? Simple! Just write whatever cool image popped into your mind, and don't worry about continuity! After all, nobody cares about consistency, and even when they do, the readers are so gullible they'll just forget you never explained it.
Ex 2:
"Well Bill, I'm stuck again! I want Madara to use Susano'o, but he doesn't have his eyes! What should I do?"
"Sounds cool bruh, just write it and forget about it. Nobody will pay close enough attention lol."
"Wowzerific! Sounds good, thanks Bill!"
This concludes Chapter 1 of Kishimoto's School of Writing. Tune in for the next Chapter, "Running Out of Time to make this Week's Chapter? Re-use Old Panels for Half the Pages to Save Time!"
