Weird question about karin origin

Kushina and Karin both got red her and tommy boy attitude.

I got a feeling the Kushina maybe made karin around the year naruto was born and orichimaru was still one of the legendary sanin in konoha.Kushina maybe give Orichimaru her child for protection during the time when Minato was hokage and war was going on.I fine it weird that Orichimaru will hold karin ,the only female amongst him to guard the prisoner .Usually people that associate with Orichimaru are male
