You and me both, bro. I think the issue here is that there's an extreme lack of education. Just because someone has a PhD in some field doesn't mean they know anything, trust me on that.

I think if people decided to find out some stuff for themselves instead of just reading about it, they might actually form their own opinion about something. That is, instead of simply having it fed to them. Would you agree? xd

In general, people think that by avoiding marijuana, they are somehow "cleaner" and "smarter" for taking "good care" of their bodies. I put quotes by good care, because in truth, sitting here trolling forums (inactivity) is worse for your body than marijuana. If people got more exercise, (i can only speak for US) our top killers (heart disease, cancer, strokes, respiratory diseases) would be FRACTIONALIZED. Point is, people make stupid decisions DAILY that are bad for them. Moderation is the key with everything. Next time you wanna make a thread calling out pot smokers, take a good look at your own life first.

Arguing about drugs is the same as arguing about religion, neither side will get anywhere because both sides are trench-deep within their beliefs and will not consider what the alternative may be.

While I do agree that some comments aren't really needed and overly excessive, when someone makes a stupid comment you almost can't help yourself. Also take into consideration that this is a very heated subject and some people may have ties with weed both positive and negative.

I think the best approach is to the respond to dumb and unimformed comments is to use logic and cite examples that reinforce your statement and let the other person see your examples so that they might be persuaded to change their thinking after being presented with logical and proven examples.
