[Debate] Weed IS bad,

I actually read the wall of text, even though I really didn't want to. It's up to the people if they want to do weed. If they do, oh well. I personally wouldn't do weed, but that's my opinion, and everyone has their own opinions on drugs.

If people want to do it, it's their choice. I would never do it, but if they can take responsibility over their usage and accept the risks then it's fine.

Pot heads will not read this; just to start off...They really don't care, and most people are too ignorant to look at facts that have been stated. They will ignore the down side out of pure ignorance..Personally, weed has been around in my family for generations, and I've seen the effects..I don't approve of it. That's my opinion.

The bottom line is that using drugs is always a sign of a psychologically unhealthy individual.

So anyone who uses drugs is a psychologically unhealthy individual?? Does that apply to all drugs or just the ones you do not like? Caffeine is a drug? Advil is a drug? What about drugs to treat cancer? Oh and weed is known to help with the after effects of chemo therapy so would that mean anyone who is being treated for cancer and smokes weed to help is psychologically unhealthy? What about the soldier who lost his leg in a war and takes pain medication which are drugs are the psychologically unhealthy? What about the woman who is going through child birth and takes a pain medication is she psychologically unhealthy?

It is not the drugs that are damaging it is the way in which we use them that causes the damage. Occasional use of marijuana is no more dangerous that taking excedrin for a headache but just like excedrin when marijuana is abused and taken excessively it can cause damage.

It is the drug companies that want to keep marijuana illegal cause they do not want you to use it they want you to use their drugs which they make money on.
