hmm I think it was actually a good way to show the basis for the characters and how they are as person. Ruirein the prankster yet protective bodyguard. And Skye which looks like he has lived a protected life and wants to continue living like that.

I guess you meant Skye not wanting to continue living like that? Skye trained hard under Ruirein despite his lack of shinobi talents - like Lee is. I've made a number attempts to draw her though but failed a number times. I wanted to see people how she looks like she would never play any joke on anyone. She's suppose to appear as tough and serious but cheerful, gentle, and fragile.
