Weather manipulation, especially If it's on a global scale. Though both powers are linked to very fundamental forces of nature.

Weather control has Electrical, Thermal, Kinetic, Potential and even Electromagnetic energy manipulation, so its very versatile. For example Storm has shown that she can tap into other forms of energy and warp them to her will, e.i. cosmic turbulence, gathered energy from the galactic core, created a world wide cosmic turbulence to block solar flares and created solar winds. Weather manipulation's potential, and power displays are ridiculous.

Excellent answer, her abilities are far beyond controlling the weather.

In X-Men Worlds Apart, Storm controlled the very air in a man's lungs, not allowing him to breathe. Just to quote her, "You breathe when I allow it! The air in your lungs obeys my every whim. You would be wise to do the same.

Then again if you follow the comics Storm has shown the potential to isolate chemicals in her body and turn them into h2o.

I m not underrating storm. she is like a god but Magneto is like a badass boss in xmen universe

I'm trying to find the comic strip but I do believe that Magneto reduced the particles of a pair of scissors to the size of an atom and them infused them into Mr. Fantastic's blood stream.

Yep, I believe Storm could also morph to any element she choose, transform into a being of ice, gas/vapor, lightning, etc. and her powers would function the same just on a greater level and with more ease.

The thing is, Magneto is a far more ruthless character, and we have seen him tame Magnetism in its most brutal forms. Storm is more gentle, and holds back most of the time.

Your an excellent fan of Marvel I gather but I would like to add that both of them hold back tremendously in combat due to the severity of its effects. Magneto could disrupt the power (electricity) in an entire hemisphere if draws to much magnetic energy towards him while Storm can disrupt the earths gravitation pull if you trigger her Claustrophobia.

The point I was making was that her body does it naturally, she doesn't have to maneuver a medium to survive in space.

Storm manipulates "energy patterns", but Magneto manipulates the energy itself.
Solar winds? They bend about earth's natural EM field. Magneto can deflect those with ease.
Lightening? If it hadn't been for Colossus and Kurt in Uncanny #150, Magneto would have killed Storm with her own lightening.
Drop the temperature? You just make him more conductive. Because of his shields, she can't get through to him physically. She's tried dropping the air pressure around him, but that doesn't work fast enough before he can counter attack. Any energy she can manipulate, he can (and with more experience).
She has no shielding, so he can basically send an I-beam right through her if he chooses
I don't see how she'd get through his force-field. And it'll be hard to get the drop on someone who can sense you through the Earth's magnetic field

but that's a different topic.
Storm power is impressive but magneto is way more stronger then her.

I'm a fan of both DC and Marvel honestly, and I agree.

But my point was Magneto isn't afraid to throw his power around recklessly, If disrupting the power on an entire hemisphere brings him toward a desired goal, he will do it. Normally Storm has to be coached, asked, in the mist of dire circumstances to use her power to such a degree. There was a comic where she was fighting Magneto, she almost killed/knocked him unconscious by causing a blizzard, she didn't know the cold made him stronger, so she stopped the attack because she thought he was dying.

Those arguments aren't credible because they restrict abilities.

(1) Storm does control energy and can view the world by its energy patterns.

She can slap transform direct solar energy into power, which she did in a village in Africa.

(2) Storm can also dehydrate your body by commanding the water in her combatant body to retract.

Magneto would last five minutes.

(3) Storm can also control the oxygen on her environment and the air in a persons lungs but she chooses not too.

Storm has more potential than Magneto but it'll never be explored because she only uses her powers to a limited capacity.
