While we all believed that Kaguya/Juubi was the most powerful entity. We forgot a couple things about the Naruto world.

Yata Mirror

Totsuka Blade

Sword of nunoboko

The existence of these God weapons was never explained(Nunoboko partially) and their origins unknown. With this said could it be possible that the Boruto series will finally explain who created these weapons or even show case more hidden secrets

lol, this is becoming an Itachi thread

Nah lol. There was another weapon or item in the series that was never explained. Forgot what it was though (not referring to the sage's Tools)

Foreshadowing is a warning or indication of a future event.
How was any of the weapons used throughout the series imply or in anyway indicate a later appearance ?

I am totally open for weapons to play a greater role.
With the ninja tool and Tribal markings it already looks like weapons will play a larger role.
Ninjustu won't be the sole source of fighting.I like that.Like everything else combat is also evolving with the future.

Their backstories or lack thereof would indicate something greater.

Just like the Rinnegan being a myth or mutation or the history between Senju and Uchiha

A lack of a back story doesn't indicate something greater.

Something being repeatedly being brought up again under different circumstances like the rinnegan and the history between the Uchiha and Senju is an indicator that it will highly likely be brought up again.

It must pertain to events/information that would indicate something that will occur down the line.

So the history of the senju and the uchiha not exactly a classic foreshadow setup does have merit as well as the rinnegan.

However, these weapsons you mention never was depicted as anything more than a tool.
Something has to be implied.Nothing about the weapons were implied.
Even if they do show up again given there was no context with the prior scenes it would still not count as a foreshadowing.

I really, really hope that's thecase. It would be lovely to see Sarada wielding the Yata Mirror...only for it to be utterly destroyed by some broken jutsu from the broken-ass antagonist. Narutobase would f*cking riot.

I think those tools and weapons are just something Kishi came up with because he loves all those references to mythology and folklore. I doubt they were meant to be explored in depth.

But you mentioned the SO6P tools, and if you think about it, they may be the weirdest. The sealing pot and the elemental fan are understandable, but that word soul-sealing combo? Why'd Hagoromo create and/or use something like that? Would be nice to know.

Let's bet money that any of the things you mentioned won't be seen or hinted at in the Boruto series.

Foreshadow - be a warning or indication of (a future event). Your personal opinion is based on how much content is presented. All it takes is 1 phrase or event to deem something as foreshadowing and as far as im concerned the three weapons in the OP all have unknown orgins which is enough for me

I really, really hope that's thecase. It would be lovely to see Sarada wielding the Yata Mirror...only for it to be utterly destroyed by some broken jutsu from the broken-ass antagonist. Narutobase would f*cking riot.

haha the war will finally reach its climax

The thing is the Sword was used by the Sage but it doesn't say he created it which is very interesting. I do agree that I would like to know more about the backstory of all three items

Maybe, maybe not. The same mentality you have about this thread is the same one people had about the Byakugan until it ended up being the eyes of Kaguya

The thing is the Sword was used by the Sage but it doesn't say he created it which is very interesting.

Obito created a sword that he called nunoboko sword, he put his will into his TSB and shaped the whole thing into a sword, Obito created that weapon, he didn't find it, someone told him how to make it.It' s like a jutsu, and I bet Obito' s version was way weaker because of his weak will.
Hagoromo (if we believe the tablet) and Obito created 2 different nunoboko swords.Nothing in the manga says that this technique was created by Hagoromo.
