The preview for the shippuden episode 333 covers naruto manga chapters 577-578. By the looks of things, Izuna will be shown but only for like a minute or so. h:

I believe that this is the perfect opportunity for Studio Pierrot to show us a bit more about Izuna and perhaps reveal some of his MS powers. :yeah: As most of you may know, Izuna is the only MS user who's powers are still unknown. :Omg: This is really lame. U_U I mean what's the point of creating this character if he's not going to be developed any further. :'(

I'll be happy enough to see Izuna, because I like his appearance very much and I think he could've become very cool character, if he did got a bit more feats. Though I don't think that giving Izuna more non-canon screen time will be a good idea. Even if the animators show us some MS techniques by Izuna, we don't know what will be Kishi's view on it. After all, he has the final word.

I agree and have to admit that his appearance is unique. From the back and sides he looks like Itachi, while from the front he looks alot like Sasuke. Well, I always did say that the only way could see Izuna's MS abilities is either through filler episodes or canon episodes which include short amount of filler, like Madara using genjutsu to paralyze a fodder with his sharingan. That part wasn't in the manga right, but it did help add another feat for Madara.

Madara would never make Izuna his trump card, out of all the Uchiha, he cares greatly about his brother. Besides, MS Izuna wouldn't offer much, since he was so young when he died.

That depends on the ability. If it were just a Gōkakyū no Jutsu, then that would be perfectly acceptable, as he would know that, being the Clan's rite of passage after all.

Look carefully at the manga scan I posted in the first post. Madara says, "After my brother died, he only left me his eyes and their power." Notice he says "...their power" which refers to Izuna's MS abilities. That is why i'm saying that it is only fitting if Studio Pierrot allow us to see atleast a glimpse of Izuna's MS powers.

Studio Pierrot can always expand on certain parts of the manga, just like they did in Madara's episode. Check this manga scan from Madara's episode.

This is just before Madara performed his large scale fire jutsu, he ripped apart about half of the fourth company with taijutsu and kenjutsu alone. Although it was epic, but it was never shown in the manga. I'm sure Studio Pierrot could do the same with Izuna. Besides, it would only need to be extended for about a few minutes just so that we can get a feel of what his MS powers were like.

I'm not quite sure that you understood my post. I meant that if Madara's trump card make him so OP (I never said that the trump card itself will be Izuna, if that's the case, Izuna's TnJ is likely to stop Madara), and Naruto can't stop him, Edo Izuna will be a good move by Kishi.

Indeed, but even so, nobody knows what his powers might have been, so any new power given by the Anime team to Izuna just to lenghten the episode would be an ass-pull. The only way I can see us discovering more about him would be by Madara mentioning it somewhere like "Just like my brother had these eyes, which worked like this and that, long ago." etc stuff.
