We saw the edos and we were like ooooohhhhhh shitttt it's going down. few chapters later, it was proved that this war is going to be bs.... and it became bs; with only a couple chapters (kabuto v bros/madz v army/a small few) being good, then it went to it's most BS point and finally, madara was revived and it started to actually get better. Sure, there have been quite a bit of '???? wtf.... kishi...?' moments since madara's revival, but It's better than what came before and The bs edo retconning/nerfing/obito crying over rin.

Those battles were interesting and cool to me. Ambush squads battle was creative to me. Kakashi's team vs Zabuza and Haku.

I think the anime ruined the war arc. They could have expaned it so well with good fillers but instead we got shitty fillers

I wish they handled the edo's better. I wish they let them fight and be set to rest by a loved one of theirs or someone they met in the past. Unfortunately that did not happen in most of the cases.
