We don't. All we need to know is that they fought. We don't need the details like we did of Hashirama vs Madara. Also, assuming they have the same powers as Naruto and Sasuke currently, it would not be as interesting to watch because we'd see no new tactics and techniques; it'd be Naruto vs Sasuke.

I completely agree. Indra vs Ashura needs to happen. I want to see the epicness of the fight, just like I want to see epicness of the final fight between Naruto and Sasuke. Everyone states that Naruto is stronger, which is why he'll win. But it's not about power, it's about strategy. I don't want a predictable fight and I agree, I don't want another Goku vs Vegeta.

We'll proabably see it in anime(in a filler ).

I think it'll be disappointing.. It should be one of those things that we shouldn't see and we should just worry about. Like if Naruto actually ended in the pain arc, we would be wondering. What happens now? What will Sasuke do. What will become of the akatsuki, etc. Cliff hangers are far better endings then stretching a show out and disappointing the viewer.

The fight might be interesting to see but NOT at the detriment of the story. I personally do not care about them and think they're waste of space myth characters introduced to beat a dead symbolism horse and to make Madara somewhat relevant. But even though I don't like them doesn't mean they shouldn't be shown fighting.

Just after the manga is over. Wasting panel time on these guys will hold the story back even further. You people's fixation on hype-machines from the past is insane, focus on the story we're currently is not these strangers from hundreds of years ago. You don't know a thing about their personalities or their identities, just their power- what reason do you have to care about these two?

They're trash characters. Most past characters are, anything before Sannin era is irrelevant because it doesnt directly affect the current plot. at ALL.
