We need more emotion out of Team 10 this chapter

Why isn't Choji going nuts right now? His best friend and brother, the only guy who stood by him when everyone made fun of him when they were little is dead/about to die as far as he knows! And Asuma's death was done extremely well and they made it into a very sad moment, and now Shikamaru who is a more important character than Asuma is facing death and Kishi is kind of glossing it over. WTF
