That made no sense either since she clearly has more chakra than Boruto refer to the databook. My guess is the overwhelming power of Sasuke's chakra is too mich for her to handle at the moment. However by the mist arc she's likely ready for it.

From what I gathered she just over did it. She was training with Chou Chou for who knows how long that day. Used her Sharingan that day then the Shadow Clone. She probably doesn’t have a grasp on the how much chakra it takes from her.

She is only half Uchiha so it is probably somewhat taxing as the Sharingan was to Kakashi. Would be cool if she does become the next Copy Ninja of 100 Jutsu though

Its called plot, Sarada shouldn't have passed realistically. They just can't make things look to easy for her if you get what I mean, the fact that she copied Boruto's technique is OP enough.

Whenever it's filler, it just seems like boruto's character is meaningless.Everything he does is meaningless and for no reason.

It's like they don't have an actual "critieria" for any of the character's skills, personalities, and abilities...unless it's CANON from the manga.The manga has to set the standard. Otherwise, it's all useless, empty, and for no reason.

They're just freelancing with boruto, at this point. His skills have no basis.

Edit:You know why they don't invlove sarada much when it comes to the filler episodes, it's because they cannot find an actual PLACEMENT for her. They don't fully understand the dynamic between the characters depicted in the manga.They lack the substance for her character, sorry.

I trust only manga/canon...they're the original.UNLESS the filler is going to somehow contribute to the main plot in the manga, somehow...but it still has to be interesting.

If you pay enough attention to the scene, her fingers overlap some parts of shikadai and inojin which mean shes on the foreground. Sumire is by their side so She's definately locking on to someone.
