I thought that when Hashirama met Madara at the battlefield Madara will tell him how he escaped from the valley of end and how he cheated death. But it never happened. The technique called EVENING ELEPHANT must be a one shot kill just like HIRUDORA. It might be so powerful that it will force Madara to use some secret jutsu that he have been hiding from us this whole time. The whole alliance will believe that Might gai defeated Madara but he will come from the dust and smoke with out being injured and He will say that you are so strong that I ended up using the same jutsu that used infront of Hashirama to escape from death.

Izanagi will make him loose his eyes completely . RememberMadara awakened rinnegan so there is no way he would have used izanagi
