Okay so all these people saying stuff like omg sasuke is gunna be so strong now that he has ems I'm sorry but we don't even know what ems does ! For all we know it might just make it where his eyes do not get messed up after he spams
There is no guarantee that ems will give him any other special abilitys besides this
And no I'm not trying to troll or anything like that

That's what I'm saying !? I mean I'm a fanboy to naruto but at least I use my own logic I'll admit it if I didn't think naruto would win but to say sasuke is gunna be able to beat naruto bm with out even knowing what the new technique is that's boast to the extreme

I made a thread about this the other day. From what I could tell from others input, EMS;
- Is basically just a stepping stone, before you can cash in for better eyes (rinnegan)
- It grants eternal light, no special or additional jutsu
- Since the user can't go blind, this allows for the potential for the user to 'train' in EMS techniques, which is a huge advantage over MS (and possibly why Sasuke's blaze release has improved)

Apart from that it's nothing special, especially when weighed against something like the rinnegan.

i think its safe to say he was talking about rinnegan, but it crossed my mind what if he was talking about ems the whole time?

Madara didn't awaken the rinnegan until right before his death, which pretty much takes that out of the equation. Not to mention Itachi didn't even know about the rinnegan at that time.

Itachi was talking about EMS in the panel above and then says that was only half of the story and mentions a completely new doujutsu in the next panel, which means it's pretty safe to say he wasn't talking about that either.

He was talking about a new eye jutsu like amaterasu, susanoo, and tsukuyomi, which are all considered doujutsu.

Link where it says he does? It goes both ways my friend. Itachi was ignorant of the rinnegan powers when Nagato used them during his fight against Naruto and Bee, which pretty much implies he knew nothing of it at that time.
