I like Sam Raimi's work but I disagree. This Venom looks more menacing than the SM3 one. They eyes look more expressive now where he looks angry/sinister whereas SM3 he looked surprised.

Well, I do not like the eyes, and the voice does not match Venom's mimicry
If the Venom SM3 was graphic, then this one looks like a cartoon

To be fair I'm watching this without speakers so idk about the voice you may be right. You can dislike the eyes if you want. I don't recall anyone saying anything about the SM3 one being "graphic" but I agree with as shiny as he looks he could come across "cartoony" but to that I say "so?" he's a cartoon, he looks cartoony not that big of a kill for me but I've always disliked the attempt to "normalize" superheroes, they're just not realistic so why are we trying to make them be?

I'll have to watch with sound but probably will be hard to determine based on the trailer. Idk I like bitter Eddie but without Pete idk why he'd be bitter. We'll see.

It looks great, I wasn’t sold with the first trailer cause you know it sucked lol but this one, including the actual Venom and the transformation was great. I am actually excited to see it and I also read that Spider-Man it’s involve in some way in the movie.
