Uhm, no, that is not what I said. You're implying that using synonyms will remove the significance and meaning of what is said. I'm saying that is not the case if one knows the meaning of the synonyms and euphemisms. If somebody knows "blind" and "visually impaired" mean the same thing, then it doesn't matter which one is used.

Profanity and inappropriate language are an entirely different story. If somebody says "if you want to be here or a part of this, you can't say this," then you have the choice of agreeing to their terms and conditions in order to be there, or go elsewhere that won't ask that of you.

As the old saying states "we think with language". For example instead of saying "weather is good" and "weather is bad" one should say "weather is good" and "weather is not good". So i do not know what sort of relevance it has with political correctness which in fact conventionally increases the ways of expression thus confuses some. And it is funny when someone who probably can not speak a language more than one is slandering this concept like some linguist authority.
