Idk how any human being can look a child in their eyes and pull that trigger, I can really sympathize with the family members of the victims, I have a little sister at home and idk what I'd do if something like this happened to her. Actually the number of mass shootings have decreased over the past few decades. The high point for mass shootings in America was in 1929, and the 90's saw more mass killings than the 2000's.

But I think the problem is that:

1.) The weapons used have become much more available and deadly.

2.) The targets for the shootings are more often places we would least expect and find shocking, as are the victims.

3.) The way the media covers them is more about the killers than the victims, as our good friend Morgan Freeman has pointed out.
