I love me some Sarada. I think she's a sweet, mature, smart, empathetic young lady.

My ONLY complaint about her is her acceptance of Sasuke's bull shit.

I hoped she would be the one throughout the series to not simply roll over and accept Sasuke's ****ery and think it would've been more interesting if she still resented him a little for being absent without even so much as a letter or birthday card.

I mean, it would be one thing if he was undercover somewhere and couldn't make any outside contact, but dude was out and about able to manage his own time. There is absolutely no excuse whatsoever for him not contacting his family in all those years. NONE.

And Kishi just sweeps it under the rug and everyone jumps on Sasuke's JOCK because at least he was sorta nice now and oh yea...forehead tap. SMDH.

I think Sarada should've been Kishi's tool for calling out Sasuke's flaws and she should've been truth to power in their household. I also think it would add to the rivalry with Bolt because she'd resent her father for a legit reason while Bolt resents him for reasons that most ppl would think are less justified.

The guy was on a important mission that only he could solve via his eye power. Would you have proposed he to stay with his family and let the end come?

In a way he made a choice that was similar to Itachi if you think about it.

Jumping through dimensions to prevent a world ending threat is not exactly the best scenario to stay in contact, his mission was top secret after all.

The fact that she is ok with him and loves him means he proved to her that he deserves their love at the time he spent home in 710, but of course you would never use your imagination for off-screen positive development, only negative.

Get Sarada off the Sakura bandwagon and the character has magically evovled from being a fodder to a Princess. Also tell her to get some Uchiha abilities to see through Sasuke's BS.

Kishimoto shouldn't have had Sarada be the same age as the others.

He should have made her be around Himawari's age or lower. It would convey that their relationship took time or they waited until he was finished with his work.

But parallels...

Underlined, I've been on Sasuke's jock since chapter 3 why would I hop off now?
...Jokes aside though maybe that's why she wants to be hokage. Because she admires Naruto and doesn't really look up to Sasuke.

Exactly, Sarada seems mature enough to understand that Sasuke has a duty to not just protect her & Sakura but the world as well.

Im very disappointed with her.She better get something special in the movie.

Y'all can fall for the okey doke if you want, but I'm not buying it.

I understand that Sasuke couldn't be home physically bc of the mission but to not contact them in all those years at all??

Come on now.

No one is saying he should go home for birthdays, but dude should've at least sent a letter or something checking in if it was even once a year and so he could at least keep tabs on sarada's development.

You guys are just sweeping it under the rug right along with Kishi. I mean I love me some Sasuke too, don't get it twisted, but even I can see that dude has NEVER EVER suffered any consequences for his actions and it's bull shit.

Kishi took the forgiveness theme of the story too far to the point there is no justice in Narutoverse. Oh Sasuke had a change of heart, so let's just forgive and forget. God forbid ppl like Karin and Sakura be made whole and be given some dignity in all of this. I mean dude had one chick who lived him delivering the kid of the chick he chose over her....maybe in Kishi's mind this makes Karin look selfless, but I'm my mind when you combine the stab, immediate forgiveness, rejection for Sakura and now delivering their child, this just seems degrading to me. And all she cares bout is Sasuke's happiness?? Why is everyone so all about Sasuke??? What spell has he casted on these ppl ???
And Oh Kabuto had a change of heart so let him run free. Never mind that the ppl he experimented on and manipulated and murdered need to be made whole and given justice. Smdh.

This part right here is so damn true. Lol The biggest one is definatly him returning to the village without being jailed or anything for leaving the village without permission. Not to mention attacking the Cloud village's jinjuriki and joining a criminal gang in Akatsuki.

ok now you are overdoing this. sarada already had it rough with the whole situation, shes not going to persist and stay mad with her dad and remain unhappy. she already lashed out at him during the reunion and subsequently she got to find out for herself that sasuke does care for her(when he jumped in and saved her) and for her mum(when he looked down to take care of her).

Thats one of the things she wanted, to know that her dadcares about them. stop trying to make it seem like sasuke hates his family when he literally confirmed to sarada that he and sakuras feelings are connected and her existense is proof. for a little girl that yearned for love from him, hearing such words means a lot to her. she knows her dad loves her just like her mum always said. and he did spend some with them so she got to know him better and possibly understand why hes away. shes a mature little girl, your view on how you wanted her to act is kinda childish no offense.

No offense taken. I think you're missing my point though. I get that Sasuke cares about his family. I'm glad he cares about his family. I hoped he would care about his family. I'm glad they got a happy ending bc after all his suffering, I'm glad he'll be at peace and the blessed Uchiha clan will live on.

HOWEVER, Sarada just being glad Sasuke cares is just ANOTHER example of how Sasuke's flaws get swept under the rug. Ok, so she now understands the importance of his mission, but why not question his reasons for never communicating with them? That's all I'm saying. Ppl keep accepting these half assed excuses regarding Sasuke bc, well, at least he cares....her need for contact with her father or Sakura's need for affection or emotional support be damned, bc, well, at least Sasuke cares.

Knowing that Sasuke cares seems to be the ultimate prize in this series. None of the shortcomings matter bc, at least he cares...in his heart....though he's never around and never communicates and is aloof....

...well....at least he hugged Sarada.

Now, as far as her resenting him....I just think it would've made Sarada more interesting.....her being all happy about the forehead tap just makes her another Sakura, desperately clinging to whatever emotional scraps Sasuke throws their way bc..."at least he cares"....smdh.....it's as if they'll accept the neglect bc at least they get the "privilage" of being cared for by Sasuke....only his needs and feelings matter and everyone else just falls in line.....great for him, but not a good look for everyone else.....

It's as if Sasuke is Kishi's untouchable golden boy. The teflon king. Consequences be damned even when it comes to his flaws.

I am loyal to my Sasuke since forever, you tools can't change me. U_U

If you have friends who overlook your flaws and let you get away with atrocious things out of so called loyalty, get new friends immediately!

He sends letters to Naruto but not his family. Not to mention the mission started long after Sarada was born.

Jumping through dimensions to prevent a world ending threat is not exactly the best scenario to stay in contact, his mission was top secret after all.

Sasuke Hawks have shown to be able to travel though those dimensions and he sends letters to Naruto.

Not mention he can leave those dimesions when ever he wants to. Sasuke has more chakra than the Kages.
