Dis. A circle of fire isnt really a suitable attack by itself, plus it requires 1 handseal

Okay.
*I take some cord and wrap it around a nearby tree. I then back up and perform 4 handseals whilst gathering some katon chakra into my mouth. Then, with the end of the cord in my mouth I breath out a strong flame of fire along it, which rushes and catches the tree on fire*
Adv. It assaults the enemy upper body, can also use a line of enemies as a conductor
Dis. Requires 4 handseals, needs a conductor, whether its a wire or a line of enemies

Id try to do that shuriken wrap thing that sasuke did, where you got shuriken with cords on them. And wrap them around the opponent, then use the technique putting them on fire

Adv. This jutsu is rather simple, just a flame breath. It can also be used with earth dragon bullet (which I know) To create flaming mud to hurt the opponent.
Dis. The flame isn't particularly large or powerful

Just incase I had to perform it
*I focus my katon chakra in my body, then form 1 handseal. After that I build up katon in my body, channel it into my mouth, then exhale a powerful breath of flame*

For the first one, Those handseals o.o If it required less, itd be pretty handy, considering you can change the direction of the fireball. Not to mention the shuriken suprise inside

For the second one, is pretty useful. Not only will it tie up an opponent, but it will burn them. Plus it goes up to mid range

Would you view the first jutu differently if you had fire affinity in your bio (meaning if a fire jutsu has more than one handseal than you can perform the said fire jutsu with one handseal like this jutsu), would you find it more useful?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. In that case, yeah, Id use it, since they're hard to avoid

I like the first 1. It requires no handseals whatsoever, and releases multiple small fireballs, making it harder to block. although its only short range Makes it not as good

This is good, but simple. But the range is very good, its prolly the first long range fire tech I've learnt

For the first 1, obviously in mid-air Like when I dodged an attack and am coming down on the opponent

For the second one, just as a plain direct attack
