Dean Winchester makes his way to the training field, where a young girl awaits him. This was always weird for him, training young girls. They always had issues, and were too sugoi for his taste, but he was a teacher nonetheless. He had his bag on his back, which contained a few scrolls.
"Hello there, my name is Dean Winchester. I am from the Nekura clan o__o. Anyway, I presume we will be doing the water element. So, tell me everything you know about the element, what it does and how it works in your own words. Also, its strengths and weaknesses. Be as detailed as you can."
Dean smiles as he says this, crossing his arms as he waits for her answer.
"Hello there, my name is Dean Winchester. I am from the Nekura clan o__o. Anyway, I presume we will be doing the water element. So, tell me everything you know about the element, what it does and how it works in your own words. Also, its strengths and weaknesses. Be as detailed as you can."
Dean smiles as he says this, crossing his arms as he waits for her answer.
Shinobu Oshino stays seated. In-fact, she makes her seating more confortable as she places her knees upright, tucking them in with her arms. With a smooth, soft voice she continues. o___o "I'm Shinobu, Oshino Shinobu."
"Water is one of the basic five nature transformations, and can be used with either water in your surroundings or by transforming your own chakra into water using nature manipulation. Water is strong against fire, since it's naturally extinguishes it, but weak against earth. Water can also be used in conjuntion with lightening, and wind release. Lightening to increase attack performance and wind to increase its destructive power."
Shinobu sneaked in her left hand into her cap on her head, and gave her head a nice scratch as she listened to Dean-sensei.

She quickly answered him, covering what she knew about the element. Though she didn't say much, she had covered the basis of Water, but Dean always liked adding a bit to it. Just to make him seem more knowledgeable, of course. Nonetheless, he nodded his head in agreement to her statement.
"That's good, Shinobu. However, let me add a bit. Water is an extremely versatile element, one that one could use through most of the battle with ease. As you said, Water is weak to Earth because the Earth is a sturdy element, and blocks the force of water, not allowing it to go through its structure. Its strong to Fire, because it smothers it, but remember this also creates steam which can be used as a cover sometimes in battle. Lightning and Wind can both enhance Water, but can also be used to disperse it, and the Lightning can be used to fry someone standing on a water source, and you use a bolt to strike the Water. So its double edged. Its abundance in your average terrain, allows for some interesting usage and it has defensive, offensive and supplementary uses, which makes it a very cool element. I myself am a user of the element, which means I have a good stand on the type of techniques we will be dealing with. Now Water might seem straightforward, but it contains techniques like projectiles, ones that need a water source, ones that are greatly manipulated into forms like dragons/sharks etc. You even find sticky water and oily water which is flammable. However, we'll be going through all of them. I have to warn you, Water is a long element, I hope you brought water. I brought alcohol >,>. Anyway, lets get started."
Dean looks into his bag, a special type of paper is removed as he stretches his arm into the air. The small paper looks normal, but it isn't. ITS A SPECIAL PAPER.
"This paper isn't normal, its called chakra paper, and allows one to see what affinity you have. If you have the Water affinity, the paper will become soaked, as it will covered in water. Now, hold this paper in your hands and concentrate on it. Try and push your chakra there. YOU GOT THIS!"
Dean waits for Shinobu to do as he had asked.

With narrowed eyes and a care-free body expression Shinobu still understood everything that went out of Dean-sensei's mouth. Hopefully though because of the lack of enthusiasm among such expression Dean-sensei wouldn't become irritated and get the wrong idea if Shinobu accidentally faulted, even though this is ridiculously almost impossible. Standing from comfort Shinobu takes hold of the special paper. Shinobu charges chakra and with the sufficiant amount process of chakra manipulation is applied as Shinobu manages to focus suiton chakra swiftly towards her right hand. A moment flew and as the first drop of suiton chakra leaks just passed her wrist; the paper is already soaking wet. "Wooaah." She moans, with incredible softness in her smooth voice, but still with the emotionless facial expression. (lol) Shinobu was a little impressed as this escalated rather quickly than expected.

Shinobu quickly did as she was told, and to great progress too. She succeeded in manipulating her Water based chakra, which was the first step to the Water training, which was now going to take a step forward. Dean nods his head in agreement, as he shows Shinobu a spot where they would continue their training.

I will explain the technique to you, then I want you to perform the technique against a clone of mine, state at least 2 advantages and disadvantages of the technique and how you would use it in battle. If you have questions, be sure to ask (all this done in RP manner, so no need for a template, I hate templates >_>).
Now the first technique is very simple, but somehow, has various uses. Through simple manipulation of your Water chakra, you will release small blasts of water from your hands towards the opponent in the form of a projectile,or create a shield of water to stop basic free form attacks (hand to hand combat) or manipulate an existing water source to create waves of water. It has three uses, two which can be done without a water source. Now you use this creatively against my clone."

With a nod or two showing understanding, Shinobu calmly remains and charges the sufficient amount of chakra as she awaits for the clone to get to her.
Dashingly approaching her, Shinobu quickly focuses the charged chakra towards her palms and then releases them with the application of shape and nature manipulation. With arrival, the clone manoeuvres his left arm for a hit, but as soon as Shinobu glances at the clone, a shield of water is formed, flinging her palm with the shield towards him she avoids the attack by blocking it. Dashing to her left a little, Shinobu releases chakra once more with the application of chakra manipulation forming projectiles of water approaching the clone.
Shinobu's face remains expressionless. "Ahh, sensei... I'm too lazy for two each so apologies for the short answers." Shinobu starts to fidget with the large earflaps of her aviator's cap. "For this technique, because of its simplicity I'd mainly use it for close combat shielding and close combat counter-attacking. Not good for unnecessary usage in a range further than close hand to hand combat as it's easily avoidable."

Shinobu let go of her cap and stood firmly. By focusing the remaining charged chakra towards her mouth, Shinobu begins to breath the chakra out slowly whilst applying nature and shape manipulation resulting in a mist scattering in her surroundings. Shinobu notices the mist was thicker than expected.
As Shinobu began to state her opinion, she turned her head left and right continuously as if she was in boredom land, dreaming of being bored. Spoke in a very dull, but extremely soft voice "Hmm, I think this is a really good technique. Especially for me because I am a speed and tai type so this is really helpful for confusing the opponent, giving myself a good amount of time. For the cons, as stated, it's useless against the Byakugan. Mmm, I can't think of anything else..."
Stopping with the head wiggling. Shinobu realizes how irritating it could have been. "My apologies sensei." She ends with a smirk.

This sword has a form of solidity though, allowing it to be used for basic free form Kenjutsu. Its also fast to create, so it could help if you don't have a weapon. Use it on my clone."

Whilst the clone appraches Shinobu, she quickly does as sensei instructs. Charging the sufficiant amount of chakra, Shinobu focuses it towards her right hand. Releasing it with chakra manipulation a sword of water is formed. Shinobu dashes toward the clone and swings the sword at the clone.
"Interesting. Very quick and simple. I'll use it in situations exactly like this because of its simplicity. I'd also use it when I run out of weapons. But when I shouldn't use it? When the situation requires counters and higher ranked jutsu, obviously."

"The performance is okay, but what about the advantages and disadvantages of the technique? And how you would use it in battle?"

"Advantage is that it is decent in close combat situations + shielding from weapons. Disadvantage is that its not going to work out well in any other situation such as against counter jutsu of higher rank."
