Water transformation

Okay lets say Suigetsu uses water transformation I don't remember actually seeing him out of his water form after going into it i believe hes name though Where does their clothes go cause they're it'd be weird if Suigetsu just left his clothes in the middle of a battle field in the middle of a fight >.> what if hes fighting a girl and needs to go solid ^_^
But yah where does they clothes go and if they still have them on after they turn back into solid how? their clothes is not part of their body and as such should not change into water with them :y

If we lived in narutoverse, thats what would happen. However i am sure kishi does not want all of suigetsus fights to be with suigetsu naked
