Even though the Water Prison Jutsu is a C-rank move, do you think that it should possibly he higher to atleast a B-rank? Because it trapped Kakashi and he was an elite jounin in part 1 and he couldn't get out, it trapped Lee, Neji, and Tenten, and Neji's a jounin however he got out only because of his kekkei genkai.

If you get trapped in it, there's no way of escaping unless of a special ability, so basically your're screwed and it's a win for the user, however, you need a water source though.

1. It isn't difficult to learn and perform

2. It doesn't require that much chakra

3. An outside force can easily destroy it.

It doesn't really matter what rank it is, as long as it is useful, but I get what you're saying. Take Shunshin for example, it's also a C-ranked but it's pretty useful when you master it.

Yea ik what ur saying but just 1 on 1, if u get ur opponent trapped with this technique, its over, not even elite jounins can escape

Yea ik Kakashi used it and got Kakazu's earth heart, and Zabuza would have beaten Kakashi with his water prison if it wasnt for team 7
