Water Prison Jutsu inescapable?

Even though the Water Prison Jutsu is a C-rank technique, if one is caught in it, arn't they technically screwed? Like, besides the Hyuga clan, Jinchuriki's, insanely strong ninja, how can anyone really escape?

For example, Part 1 Kakashi couldn't even escape and he was still really strong. You may say lightening users can run lightening through the prison and strike the users hand, but it will also strike them because they are surrounded by water.

If jounin or even a Kage such as Asuma, Kurenai, Baki, Hayate, Hidan, Mei, Darui, Kankuro, Temari, Zabuza, part 1 Kakashi, other jounin during war that I can't remember their names, and Guy(if he can't use gates in the prison), cant escape, then that is some jutsu.

It does have it's limitations though which makes it a C-rank. But skilled water users such as Zabuza and Kisame can use Water Clones to use the Water Prison Jutsu for their real body won't be limited. This is because they have a 4/5-5/5 for chakra.

I feel like its one of those jutsus where the ability correlates with the power of the user. at the time zabuza and kakashi were about equal so zabuzas water prison was pretty damn powerful

I feel as if Mei would get out of it. She is the Mizukage. You'd think she'd be good with water.
Hidan's immortal. He could just wait until the user ran out of chakra. No biggie.
Darui could use his sword to cut off the user's arm. Same with Zabuza and anyone with a sword, let alone a kunai or sharp object.

I feel as if Kakashi was not that strong compared to part 2 Kakashi. I think Kishi was just trying to hype up Zabuza, making Team 7 seem awesome for beating him.

I don't know about that, I mean, it is only a C-rank move which isn't to difficult to perform, its only a C-rank because limitations, the power when caught is probably a higher level than C

Sensor type? No, Neji escaped because of his Kekkei Genkai, not because of a sensing. But yeah people just ignore this because it's a basic water tech. But whatever, atleast we know the truth haha
