[Suiton] Water Bending

The first one is one of my favorite water technique, used by Tobirama.

After listening to the explanatin, Rufus claps his hands together, gathering chakra form his chakra reservoirs. Once he gathers the required chakra, he starts to infuse properties of water into the chakra effectively transforming the nature of the chakra into water. Then, he channels his chakra into the air as a medium to attract the water molecules in the air around him. Using his chakra as a magnet, Rufus attracts the water molecules in the atmosphere to gather around him in a spiraling manner. To increase the water, Rufus infuses more chakra into the water molecules, effectively molding his chakra to take the form of water. With his shape manipualtion skills, he makes the bulk amount of water formed, spiral around him vigorously ,enough to completely cover him. The water vortex is a few stories tall and by simply raising his hands, Rufus makes the water vortex, rise upward in a forward manner and fall freely into the ground so that it may rise forth and head towards in the form of a huge wave. The water wave races towards the clone, engulfing him in water.

The advantages of the technique are:
✦Can be used to attack as well as defend in the same usage
✦Range of the jutsu is quite appealing
✦Rank of the technique can be increased with adding more chakra
✦Size of the technique
✦Can be used as a medium for other water technqiues.
✦Versatile

The disadvantages are:
✦Even though the jutsu is versatile, it's power is not as strong.
✦The user is still vulnerable to attacks that migh attack him from inside the vortex ,similar to the case of susanoo. We've seen that Gaara used the sand under Madara while he was using susanoo, to grab him off his feet and toss him aside. The same kind of logic can be used to counter this.

I have so many ways to use this jutsu. The jutsu is that awesome.

For the next technique, Rufus quickly strings the handseals Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake and gathers the required chakra from his chakra reservoir. Once done, he starts to infuse properties of water into the chakra, transforming the chakra into suiton chakra. Rufus then channels the suiton chakra into the air around him and guides the chakra into the air above him, making the chakra ascend great heights and fuse with the clouds. Once the clouds are saturated with enough suiton chakra, Rufus exercises his control by using his chakra to make the clouds por water down in the form of rain such that each droplet of water is infused with his own chakra. These chakra droplets act as a beacon, allowing Rufus to keep track of everything that has a chakra source. Rufus quickly spots the sly clone as he is busy hiding himself.

The advantages of the technique are:
✦Range is long
✦The jutsu continues as long as the user wishes to or unless the opponent uses some sort of jutsu to disperse the clouds or block the rain
✦Can be used to track anybody with a chakra signature as long as he is in the rain affected area and the rain drops fall on him.

The disadvantages of the technique are:
✦Lacks offensive power
✦Opponents can create earthen shelters or similar structures to stop the rain from touching their body.

I would probably use this jutsu for what it's meant for, tracking. It'd work well with the mist and the water created with the rain can acts as a water source for future techniques.

Descripton: This technique allows the user after claping their hands together to make a spiralling vortex of water to form around them out of nowhere in a vortex like manner. The vortex then proceeds to cascade into an wave of water that rampages towards the intended target or all around. The size and power of the technique is dictated by the amount of chakra put into the technique, varying from C-rank to B-Rank.

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

"Okay, for the next two. First, I would like you to form the Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands then hold your hand out towards the opponent and manipulate your Water based chakra to expel water from your mouth to form a near inescapable sphere of water around the opponent that is extremely dense. The downside of this technique is that you have to keep your hand inside it to maintain it. Try it out on my clone."

"Next one, when attacked or trying to get out of a jiffy, you should manipulate your Water based chakra, and freely transform yourself into water. Can't attack in this form though. Very easy, use it to dodge this kunai!"

Dean throws a kunai at Rufus, aimed for his heart!

Rufus walks towards the clone, standing next to hi upon arrival. He then, starts to remember the instructions and quickly strings the handseals Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands. Using the handseals as means to draw chakra easily, Rufus draws the necessary chakra from his chakra reserve. After drawing only the required amount of chakra, Rufus starst to infuse the chakra with properties of water, making the chakra more fluid like. Once done, he extends his right hand towards the clone and uses his chakra circulatory system to direct the chakra towards his mouth. Rufus then compresses the chakra in his mouth, and molds the suiton chakra to take the form of water which he expels quickly from his mouth. The water quickly draws near his right hand, and Rufus uses shape manipulation to make the expelled water form a spear around the clone, with his right hand still inside the water orb. The clone poofs away as soon as he gets suffocated inside the water.

The advantages are:
✦Once the opponent is caught, he is unable to move or weave hand seals
✦Doesn't require a water source

The disadvantages are:
✦Range of the jutsu makes it hard to pull off
✦A hand should always be inside the spear, making t hard to perform other techniques or evade attacks.
✦Can easily be broken by earth jutsu's that can be expelled from the opponents' body
✦Time taken to form is a disadvanatge

I'd probably not use this much in battle, unless with a water clone. I think it could work as a defense against fire style attacks as well, making the water orb in front of me.


For the next techniques, Rufus starts to gather the required chakra from his innate chakra reservoirs. Once the necessary chakra was gathered, Rufus infuses it with properties of water making the chakra resemble more and more like water, giving it fluid like feel. Once done, Rufus directs the chakra throughout his body with the aid of his chakra circulatory system. Noticing the incoming kunai and judging by it's trajectory, Rufus knew it was aimed for his heart. Using the suiton chakra gathered around his chest area, he embeds each of the individual cells in the chest area with suiton chakra, imparting water like properties to that area of his body. As the kunai touches his chest area, it goes through his body as if through his chest was made of water. The kunai emrges out of his back leaving a small hole in the water, which soon closes up, reverting Rufus back to normal.

The advantages are:
✦A good last minute defense

The disadvantages are:
✦User is vulnerable while in this form. I belive the opponent can use the user body to perform water syle jutsu, by overpowering his chakra i.e; with a B-rank jutsu
✦User cannot attack while in this form


I'd probably use it as a last mean resort due to the handicaps that com with this jutsu. In essence it's a replacement technique. Would be good to incorporate with taijutsu fights

Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water by waving the Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands spread in front palms out. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.

Description: The user can freely transform his body into liquid. This form allows him to avoid taking direct damage from many physical attacks but can not attack while in this form.

"For the next one, I want you to form the Dragon → Tiger handseals, and manipulate your Water based chakra to summon a large amount of water, that can be used to strike the opponent in different ways. When attacking the opponent, use shape manipulation to form the water into the shape of a dragon with a gaping mouth. This water stays stationary until the opponent chooses to use it offensively. Attack my clone over there!"

Dean's clone stands about 8 meters away from Rufus, oblivious to what's gonna happen.

"After that, I want you to form the Tiger handseal, then slam your foot onto the ground whilst manipulating your water based chakra to cause a water to rise up and move towards the opponent like a slicing jet. Very easy to perform, use it against my clone!"

Upon hearing the sintructions, Rufus performs the seals Dragon → Tiger, quickly and draws forth chakra from his innate chakra reservoirs. Once the necessary chakra is gathered, he starts to infuse it with properties of water, making the chakra more fluid like. Now he circulates the suiton chakra throughout his body with the aid of his chakra circulatory system, .Now, he release the suiton chakra in his body into the air, whilst molding the chakra to make it take the form of water. The water molecules newly formed with Rufus's chakra quickly adhere to nearby water molecues, forming a wobbly globule of water levitating, in front of him. The water moleuces tend to absorb the moisture in the air around it, further enhancing the sheer bulk of the summoned water. Rufus then slams his right hand forward with an open palm, making the water rush towards the opponent in mid-air and uses hsape manipulation to make the water resemble the shape of a dragon's head, with it's mouth with open, ready to take chunk of it's opponent with it. The water dragon, crashes into the clone, destroying it's existence.

The advantages are:
✦Range is mid-range
✦Versatility of the technique as it can be used to attack the opponent by even slamming it onto his face
✦Doesn't require a water source and can acts as base for other water techniques

The disadvantages are:
✦Use of handseals
✦Range is limited to mid
✦Can easily be countered with a good enough defense like a D-rank earth wall.
✦Lacks any real damaging power

I'd probably use this more often than one might imagine. My usage of this technique would be to break my fall, if I ever get dropped from a height. I could use the water as my personal levitating water blob which can proved me a foothold, and free to attack in any way I please.


For the next technique, Rufus performs the Tiger seal and draws forth chakra from his innate chakra reservoirs. Once gathered, he infuses it with properties of water, making the nature of the chakra water. The suiton chakra is then directed to his right leg, with the help of the chakra circulatory system. Rufus then proceeds to lift his right leg a little bit and slams it down on the ground, effectively releasing the suiton chakra all at once into the ground, molding the chakra into the water. The released water take the form of a thin stream of water, that quickly cuts through the ground, heading towards the clone, slicing him into tow and making him poof away.

The advantages are:
✦The jutsu is really fast
✦Cutting power of the jutsu is quite handy unlike normal water techniques

The disadvantages are:
✦Requires ground contact
✦Range is limited to mid

Yeah, this technique could be real handy. I would probably use this on summons who are unable to fly. If I could wound it somehow to restrict it, it'd be handy. Since this is a core offensive technique, it's use is limited to only that

It has been known to transform it into a dragon with a gaping mouth to attack. The water used will be stationary till it is sent offensively toward the opponent.

Description: After waving the Tiger hand seal the user slams his foot to the ground, causing water to rise up and travel towards his target as a slicing jet.

"Okay, for the next two. First, I want you to manipulate your Water based chakra, and mold it. After that, release it from your mouth in the form of a powerful bullet of water, made a bullet through the use of shape manipulation. This bullet is so powerful, it rips through the earth as it moves towards the opponent. Use it to blast my clone!"

Dean creates a clone, that dashes towards Rufus.

"After that, I want you to form the Tiger → Dog → Monkey → Snake → Boar → Tiger handseals, then greatly manipulate your Water based chakra, changing mere molecules in the air before you, into several orbs of water, that seemingly rise from the ground. The water that join to form a body of water, can be used to attack, defend or act as for supplementary uses like for aquatic summons to breathe in water. You are literally creating a water source. Use it to attack my clone, or use it as a defense."

Dean creates a clone that dashes at Rufus with the intent to kill.
