Water is strong against Fire, It helps to enhance Lightning based techniques and is usually free flowing. Time for some good borrowing
Water is a more or less passive element by nature. It flows freely and takes the shape of whatever it is contained in. I call it passive as it is a yielding element which goes and flows however the external forces and nature dictate it to. For example; still water will move and ripple at the slightest touch, a river flowing straight will move around a rock and take an alternate direction instead of just going through the rock. Wind can cause water to move in different directions. This is one of the reasons why water, a yielding element, is opposite to earth, an unyielding element. That rock in the bank of the river will not move for the water, it will stay firm. If the rock were to walk through the river straight, the water would go around the rock, not the other way around. This is a rudimentary understanding, however water itself can be very powerful and forceful. A large enough mass of water may disroot the rock if strong enough. Water may be condensed to a fine area and move at great speeds to cause a powerful impact. That is where variables come in, which is what any element manipulates, the variables of the properties that can enhance an element's potential. If you want to look at things in terms of balance, Taoism and philosophies behind water and it's general movement. Water is the Yin half, not forceful, yielding and water redirects energy instead of meeting it head on. The Chinese Internal styles of martial arts talk about redirecting your opponents force back onto them which is essentially a property of water (the redirection that is). Force is not met with force rather the force is allowed to continue until redirected suddenly, often times against even harder forces that are much stronger. An example would be if somebody were to punch you. They are traveling in one direction at a certain speed. You simply move out of the way while guiding the fist further in that direction, increasing the speed. Should there be a wall behind them, they make impact with that wall and most often hurt their hand. Water can be anything from a calm and small lake to a gigantic tsunami, which causes widespread destruction. Water can be spewn from the body as a stream, fired as projectiles, or be released from the body's pores itself, as well as, you can materialize water out of thin air. Certain techniques require a source of water to insert your chakra and manipulate it to your will. Water is nearly endless and a provider of life and ultimately, divine.

(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.

(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining

Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques.



1) Manipulate your Water based chakra, and focus it either into an existing Water source or simply use it without one. Focus it to your hands, and release outwards, small blasts of Water which causes very little damage, or form small shields of Water. However, on a Water source, one is able to make small waves, maybe to disrupt the opponent's footing, and cause menial damage. Not very versatile, though it depends of how you use it.

2)
even more versatile technique, and one of considerable power if used right. Nonetheless, with this technique you will manipulate your Water based chakra and either from expelling it from your mouth, or lifting some Water from a Water source, create a thick mist. This mist covers the battlefield, and makes it impossible for those with the Rinnegan or Sharingan to see through, however, the Byakugan can still see. Except for merely blinding your opponent, its also useful if you have some Mist based techniques, or simply want to escape. Be wary though, if you don't have sensory, the opponent might use your own mist against you.

3) A
simple technique where you will manipulate your Water based chakra, to manifest a sword that is made of Water. However, this sword has some form of solidity to it, allowing it to act like a normal blade in fights, whereas it can cut the opponent, or be used to perform Kenjutsu techniques which don't require chakra. Of course, its still pretty weak, but at least doesn't require hand seals or a Water source.

4)
After that, manipulate your Water chakra, and release it from your arm, outwards. This allows you to create a shield of Water, that can be used to protect you against some smaller weapons, or weak Taijutsu techniques, like free form things. Nonetheless, the shield seems to be useful in certain situations, though its kinda useless as the first technique can create shields too.

Jutsu 1


Strengths - Requires no Hand Signs to perform. This Jutsu also does not require a source of Water to perform. A useful technique indeed it's greatest strength would have to be it's versatility. It can be used either to defend or attack or even provide a source of water for another Suiton Jutsu

Weaknesses - Since it's low in rank it won't cause considerable damage and can easily be defended by the earth release technique. A really high fire tech can render this one useless.

Uses - I would Use this Technique to create water for another High Rank water Jutsu or Defend against weak Fire techniques.


Jutsu 2

Strengths - Well for one this technique can be used without a water source. I also has the ability to blind most users(except those who have Byakugan). This Jutsu can also be used to fell from Battle. I also requires No Hand Signs to perform making it easy to use. You can also adjust the thickness of the mist to suit yourself

Weaknesses - Does not work against Byakugan users and Sensory types. (Thats all I can think of)

Uses - I would Use this Jutsu to Either flee from battle or blind and enemy whilst preparing another attack.

Jutsu 3

Strength - A Pretty col technique. Turns water into a Sword which can be used like any other Sword. It does not require hand signs to perform neither a source of Water. May be able to create two Swords. (one in each Hand)

Weaknesses - The range would be Short since it is being used like a weapon. Your opponent Can stay away and Shoot Fireballs at you. Like most Water techniques it is weak to earth ninjutsu. Throw some lightning on it and I am fried.

Uses - I would Most likely use this Jutsu to fight an opponent in close combat or one with a weapon.


Jutsu 4

Strengths - Well its a good defensive jutsu for weaker taijutsu and Fire technique. Seems to only need one arm to perform which leaves the other hand open to perform another task while defending. Also no hand Signs

Weaknesses - Well its basically a defensive technique for weaker attacks. A lightning jutsu will leave the user Dazed

Uses - I would Most Likely Use this in conjunction with he Sword Jutsu to attack and defend against opponents performing one in each hand since they do not require hand signs

(Suiton: Suiben) - Water Release: Water whip
Rank: C
Type: Offensive, supplementary

Description: After the user performs a series of 3 hand seals Rat → Dog → Ox, the user creates a whip of water that can be used to strike the opponent with a lashing action or wrap around the target to bind them. This technique can also have lightning techniques channeled through when they have bound their victim with the water whip.

Description: The user After performing the required hand seals Ram → Tiger spits out high-viscosity, chakra infused water, aimed at a surface of wide scope. This is a stream of sticky liquid which can be used to form an adhesive trap that can inhibit a person's mobility. One can effectively reduce their enemy's area of activity with this technique, and has the effect of being able to take complete control over the battlefield. The normal scope of this technique is normally just a few metres, but if prepared, it is also possible to make an entire pond of starch syrup. Being caught in the technique can be avoided by channelling chakra to one's feet allowing one to walk upon it uninhibited, beforehand.




2) Form three hand seals, and manipulate your Water based chakra and release from your mouth some Water which you form into a whip. This whip can be used to strike an opponent, or bind them with it. Of course, an alternative use of the whip is to channel some Lightning chakra through it to shock the opponent that has been binded. It's not very strong though.



3) A very cool technique where you form the two hand seals, and manipulate your Water based chakra. You will then spit out a high-viscosity chakra infused Water, which covers a large area as it is released. Its sticky in nature, and acts as an adhesive trap to trap the opponent in. It can be used for some other things too if you are creative.

Jutsu 1




Strengths - Well For one this technique does not require any source of water. It can be combined with a lightning jutsu which can cause Paralysis to the opponent. It also can be used to as an offensive/defensive type attack since you are able to attack while keeping your opponent some distance away. You can also use this Jutsu to attack an opponent continuously causing more damage.


Weaknesses - Well an earth technique would make this useless and it requires 3 hand signs to perform so you would not be able to use it instantly of you are suddenly attacked. It is not going to be very useful against long ranged attacks either. Also if the opponent is able to get close to you the jutsu will be useless since it is meant to be used as a whip


Uses - I really would not use this technique much in battle. But if I had to I would only use it with the lightning to try and restrain an opponent that I intend to capture. I might also make some clones with this Jutsu to attack an opponent from all directions.




Jutsu 2


Strengths - Only 2 hand signs required for such a good technique. I can reduce the mobility of others giving openings to attack, especially from above. It also can be used on a wider scale. Allowing you to limit you opponent's mobility on the entire battlefield. It can also be used to set up traps. If you can prepare the area of battle and force your enemy into one of those traps and thus leaving them flustered for a moment


Weaknesses - Its Major Weakness it that it can be easily countered by focusing you chakra under your feet. it can also be easily avoided if the opponent see's the jutsu coming in their direction


Uses - I would use this Jutsu as a trap prepared before battle and try to lure my opponent into them. When they are caught in it use the opportunity to launch a full powered technique.

Description: Using the hidden mist jutsu the user reflects the natural light an a way that it blinds there opponent temporarily as long as the opponent is in the mist.
Note: Must have already used hidden mist jutsu



A technique that is used after the Hidden Mist Technique, where you will reflect the natural light. This light blinds the opponent temporarily, whilst they are in the mist. A pretty cool technique.

Descripton: This technique allows the user after claping their hands together to make a spiralling vortex of water to form around them out of nowhere in a vortex like manner. The vortex then proceeds to cascade into an wave of water that rampages towards the intended target or all around. The size and power of the technique is dictated by the amount of chakra put into the technique, varying from C-rank to B-Rank.



Another cool one, where you will manipulate your Water based chakra and clap your hands together. This allows you to create a vortex of Water around you, materializing out of nowhere. This vortex cascades into a wave of water that rampages towards the opponent, or all around you. It can be C or B rank, though for now, you can only use the C rank version

Remember that it materializes Short range around you.

Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake hand seals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.



The technique mostly used by those who have no form of sensing. After forming the hand seals, you will cause rain clouds to form, and from it, rain will fall (duh z,z). Nonetheless, this rain is linked to your senses, and if the rain is obstructed by chakra belonging to someone, you will notice it and the target can be detected. Pretty cool technique.

Description: This technique is used to trap a victim inside a virtually inescapable sphere of water by waving the Snake → Ram → Horse → Hare → Ram → Horse → Hare → Hands spread in front palms out. The only downside to this technique is that the user must keep at least one arm inside the sphere at all times in order for the victim to remain imprisoned. This technique requires a sufficient amount of water, which can be provided by expelling it from one's mouth. Once trapped the target is unable to move while within it due to the heaviness of the water. Because of the density of the water it can be used, to a limited extent, for defensive purposes if performed on oneself. Water clones can be used in preparation for the technique, which block an opponent's attack and trap the attacker in the prison using the clone's own water.



That technique used by Zabuza way back, where you will form hand seals, and spread your palms out and create a prison of Water to trap someone within it. However, your arm must remain within it, plus the technique requires some Water, so this can be provided by expelling it from your mouth. Quite simple, and not very useful to be honest.

Jutsu 1

Analysis - Well the main strength of this jutsu is that it can blind an opponent. This technique can also be maintained but using up some chakra every turn. Overall very useful since the hidden mist already reduces an opponent's visual capacity. Only downfall of the technique I can see is that it requires the Hidden Mist Jutsu to already be active in order to work. I would use this mostly to escape from a dangerous Battle or to create an opening for me to attack.

Jutsu 2

Analysis - A pretty useful attacking technique because it can either be used to attack a single enemy or enemies all around you. It requires hand signs in order to be performed and can vary in Power of up to B rank. This would be a good technique to also bring out hidden enemies within the area since the wave can go in all directions. I would use this with a clone in front and behind an enemy which can help limit their movements.


Jutsu 3


Analysis - Awesome technique. Great if you are a not a sensory type to find the location of enemies. Allowing you to either avoid encounter or prepare a surprise attack on the opponent. Best use of this is when it is already raining so the sudden rain from this technique would not be noticed. If the user has the Sharingan which see's chakra it may cause some problems. This jutsu also requires a few hand signs to be performed.

Jutsu 4

Analysis - A pretty cool jutsu, especially if you can make the water clone and use the water from the clone. it requires a few hand signs to perform which can be done while the clone is being attacked. It also stops the user's movement completely and if I remember correctly it also stops breathing. It requires one hand to maintain the Jutsu but this can be over locked if you can create a clone to perform it. This techniques has many uses and can easily restrain an opponent.
