You are really caught up on ages. What's up? There's nothing wrong with cartoons at any age. Especially since there is a lot of anime with adult themes.

They call those hentais.

And anime is in no way childish.

Most of my friends watch anime or read manga, so I don't really encounter a situation where people say that it is for kids. But when I do, I just tell them to look up Akame Ga Kiru or Attack on Titan.

No matter what I say my friends and parents think I am weird and childish, I cant just help other than pity that their ignorant minds cannot interpret and enjoy such beautiful stories. They are too arrogant to give up their belief and have patience to watch and too dumb to understand. I gave one of my friends Grave of the fireflies and he watched a bit then he was like man these cartoons are kids stuff and deleted it.

I would say to my friend if he said that, Anime isn't childish. There are a lot of anime that is suitable for all types of age groups.

ah ... my uncle tells me that i'm a child because he saw me watching naruto and stuff like that , so when he tells me that it doesn't interest him and he calls me a child i'm like... alright and i keep moving on , Lol ... when he does that , don't try and continue the conversation about the anime , but change the subject. that way you'll "move on" from a "bad time relationship" and you'll just continue with the happy relationship that you want , after all , we are all looking for happiness , right?

My father says that you watch childish cartoons then i say come on it is Attack on titan anime , it is not kiddy. My personal view is that anime is for ages from 10-30.

Anime is not really targeted for younger audiences because I went to Japan once and saw a bunch of high school students watching Full Metal Alchemist.

Some anime like One Piece, Naruto, Attack On Titan, and Bleach etc. have violence and some blood.
For reasons, sometimes the animation studio have to censor some blood out because there are some (I SAID SOME) people who are not comfortable seeing lots of blood and gore not because their too young, but it's just their preference.

But really, Anime is not only for kids, I still watch it because TV Shows here in America are just too boring to watch (Besides The Walking Dead, Tosh.0 and Game Of Thrones)
