The rinnegan would allow Pein to see the micro bombs so he would be able to avoid them and he wouldn't inhale them since the 6 paths don't need to breathe ,
Almighty push could even see the bomb being flung straight back at Deidara ,
and then there is the rest of Pein's abilities shinra tensei and more would be too much for Deidara with or without info , he might manage to destroy 1 path

C4 is a nice one hit kill but he has 6 bodies and alot of summons to hit with it. adn rinnegan can see the C4 cloud and just reverse summon out of there.
