No the OP is somewhat right. A number of these pages were not needed. Hashi's speech was. But Naruto/Sasuke Flashback and the feelings conveyed panels they have used in almost every chapter since Obito became a jinchuriki are just a cheap way to extend the life of the managa. It's a common sales tactic to get the most out of your product. Get off your high horses you guys. You don't have to agree with EVERYTHING a manga does just because it's the popular manga. Sure it's Kishi's work and what he says goes...But that does not make it flawless. Grow up a bit will ya?

Flashbacks are important when they are relevant. in this case the 3 pages of Naruto/Sasuke flashbacks were not. They should have concentrated more on Sasuke and Juugo's planning. Or even Orochimaru's dealings. He did, after all, just arrive to the scene. They were other places those flashback panels could have been more successfully and productively used. Did we not have flash backs last chapter? and the chapter before that? and the chapter before that? See where I am going? The flashbacks are way too excessive and unnecessary in EVERY chapter. Put them where they have the most relevance.

Too many flashbacks lead to these kinds of complaints.
