Obviously not he must have been hokage if his head was up there.

might not be
he was hokage alongside hiruzen remember. Also, it is possible that he lead his group as kage, as Tobirama did that as well.

Big error... Kakashi became a Jonin at 13. :l
In the official databook he was a Chunin at 6. Soooo, yeah, this
whole chapter was a drunken mistake.

And Minato was officially appointed Hokage after Obito "died".

That's really confusing...!!! Right in this chapter, it's clear that Minato is shown as the hokage. To what i've seen in the anim Minato was only a jonin during the 2nd Ninja war when he lead his team...So can we conclude that Minato was already appointed hokage at the stage of a jonin???

At the first minutes of episode 119, the 3rd Hokage said he'll send the" JOUNIN" Minato to that mission i think "Kanabi bridge". I'm positive. I just checked the ep. Its a big deal. They are losing it, the authors, creators, cast... Whomever. Its like what happened in the anime when Zabuza having flashbacks, remember?
