In Today’s episode Kagura said during Yagura’s rein as a mizukage the graduation by killing eachother was with his era . But then when Yagura talled to Naruto he didn’t look that evil .

So what’s the deal with Yagura because this graduation shit is nasty and cruel af

Bloody Mist had been like that prior to Obito taking control. Remember, Zabuza, Kakashi and Obito are all around the same age. Meaning the kill your classmate graduation exam had been in place prior to Obito controlling Yagura.

Plus, the Mist wiped out the Kaguya and Yuki clans after Obito left for the Ame village. I think the Hozuki clan ( Suigetsu and Gengetsu 2nd Mizukage) was nearly extinct also.

Same way Obito took control of Kurama. He was bonded with Spiral Zetsu after joining Madara. Hashi cells amped Obito's abilities and Mokuton suppresses Bijuu chakra. Spiral Zetsu is also OP. Spiral Zetsu was pulling of Hashirama level feats when he bonded with Yamato during the war. Summoning his own Buddha and using 5 elements to attack the SA.

I understand how he could completely control a tailed beast since that is a sharingan power, but you can't completely control a jinchuriki with sharingan because they have a Bijuu inside them that the sharingan can manipulate. We've never seen that happen. To be able to control the Mizukage so perfectly the point where no one suspected anything was off is insane. Plus shouldn't his Bijuu snapped him out of it? Was he in a constant trance or were things simply being suggested to his brain subtly? So many questions unanswered.
