[Discussion] Was Vergo stronger than the rest of Dofla's squad?

So was Vergo stronger than Diamante and Pica?

I recall something hinting at him being Doflamingo's strongest ally but at the same time i don't see him beating Zoro or the one who Zoro is supposed to fight.

I think Vergo was his right hand, making him his most trusted and loyal ally. Vergo spent years working his way up in the Marines. Although he ranked in such a high position in the Marines, Vergo was still more loyal to Doffy's crew. I think Trebol, Diamanté, and Pica will all prove to be more troublesome than Vergo, even though he was pretty troublesome himself.

Doflamingo had his own personal subordinate like Crocodile to Nico Robin.

However, Diamete, Pica, and Trebol are not doflamingo's subordinate.

(It's like calling Zoro and Sanji, Luffy's subordinate).

Those 3 are the only people who don't call Doflamingo, "young master."

Vergo's is set above the rest of the officers.

Look at it this way (all though not literal).

Doflamingo=Crocodile

Vergo= Robin

Diamete= Mr.1

Pica= Mr.2

Etc..

Yes, Vergo was Doflamingo's strongest subordinate I also think he's the one that's been with Doflamingo the longest as well, didn't Doflamingo say something like that? Anyway Vergo is one of Doflamingo's strongest subordinates due to his unbelievable Haki.

i also think vergo was his strongest thats why hes so pissed when luffy is not in the ring with his now strongest

I don't think he was the strongest but also not the weakest. I think he's somewhere in between. Not sure if we'll ever know who is #2 etc after Doflamingo via direct statement or feats but I believe it's Pica/Diamante > Diamante/Pica ~ Vergo > Trebol.
