yes it is, there is no way in hell that a small rock would be able to damage or even stop a bullet and also dint people already showed the ability to harden even objects with armament haki like smoke vs vergo fight? and also armament doesnt always look visible like metal people have already demosntrade this when the kujas pirates (Hancock tribe) used this abilities to enhance their arrows making then possible to even pierce trough rocks

He threw a rock but I think the OP's point was a rock shouldn't stop a bullet fired from a gun let alone split it. So there's a chance/idea he may have used haki with the rock like the Kuja do as detonator showed.

While I'd like nothing more than Ace to be recognized as having arm haki, because realistically it makes no sense for him not to have it, most people aren't going to see it/accept it that way.
