Was there a logical reasion for Boruto to fight the 7 Swordsmen

The arc was nice. but was there any logical reason for him to even have been there? as a leaf ninja in the land of waves it's a huge **** up of boruto to get involved in something like that.

and what is worse is chojuro was down with kids fighting to the death.

yeh this was bs, chojuro couldnt send a couple jonins to kill em? instead he comes on his own gets shredded and looked like a fool even if he did win, and got a bunch of academy kids involved. when 1/2 of the mist arc consist of this dumbfuk kagura kid, things were already looking bleak

Chojuro could have neg dif dealt with all of them. but we did get that good Sarada fight.

and that was not just a bunch of academy kids. they was academy kids from another nation. that makes things a whole lot worse.
