What was your impression on the Zabuza arc?

Funny enough, but I always thought in a similar way. This arc seems so out of the rest of the story, in a good way - it's just so different and so good. Definitely one of my favorite arcs in Naruto.

It wasn't ninja-like. Ninja never outright confronted enemies, and they certainly didn't make a flashy show of it when they were forced to direct confrontation.

Point is, Kishi said Naruto would never be like a normal ninja show, and it has never been so.

Yes, it was amazing, it explained how they were ninja, how they were able to move on walls, etc.

Because you were alive then ? NOPE, some ninja were hard headed and confronted many people head on.

Only arc that hints at the idea of what it truly means to be a ninja. Ironically it foreshadows the question that readers develop when reading onward from this arc as they become less like ninjas in every sense

Kishi could have ended it after the Zabuza arc and I would have been satisfied. You had two deep villains with motives that weren't typical of shonen villains. All of the main characters grew as characters over the course of the arc. Ninja skills were valued. No one was destroying entire villages.

You're making baseless assumptions which are completely incorrect. I wasn't alive in WW1 but I know how it went.

Historical records and artefacts show how ninja executed their roles. If they were "hard headed" and confronted enemy head on, they weren't ninja.

Take your foolishness to the local tip, where it belongs.

Historical records? The bible speaks of Adam and eve but that's impossible and they never existed which is a scientific fact.
Many ninja confronted head on as distractions. Please educate yourself further, you need it.

You're comparing the Bible to historical records? By your logic we should take all historical records and accounts with a pinch of salt and regard it as untrustworthy. Next time I see the Magna Carta or the Declaration of Independence, I'll remember to compare it to the Bible and consider it to have never passed.

No, you've got it wrong. Ninja USED agents and citizens as diversions so that they could enter a location undetected. Sorry mate, the only one who needs to educate himself is you, since you seem to be missing more than a few essentials.

It's my fav. arc definitely, and it holds my fav. character Zabuza.

It was the only ninja-ish arc along with the chunnin exams arc and most of the sasuke rescue arc. In a summary, part 1 was about ninjas, part 2 until midway was about superhumans, and the last part was about gods.

Use wikipedia, it'll work for you buddy.

Ninjas were in fact trained on silent moves. Did they fight normally sometimes? Sure.

Chuunin exams was also a ninja-like arc. The forest of death was intense

I agree, We established all the main characters personalities and powers, got good exposition on chakra, saw what some higher level ninja could do, and established Naruto's ninja way a theme that would carry throughout the rest of the series. (even if it got annoying in the war arc) How would you rank the arcs?
